🚧 CHATTAROY RAILROAD CROSSING CLOSURE! 🚧

The railroad crossing entering Chattaroy, WV, from US 119 will be closed to all traffic beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, while crews complete necessary repairs and paving work at the crossing.

The closure will remain in effect until all work has been completed. Motorists should anticipate delays and plan their travel accordingly. Residents are reminded that access to and from Chattaroy will remain available via the US 52 entrance near the former 84 Lumber location.

Please use extreme caution when traveling in the area, obey all posted signs and traffic control devices, and follow directions provided by work crews. Allow extra time for travel during the closure period.

Your patience and cooperation are appreciated as improvements are completed to enhance the safety and condition of the crossing.
