I cry in my flower field. Not the pretty kind — the full-body, give-it-back-to-the-dirt kind. And somehow the ground just takes it and doesn't ask questions.
Anyone else have a place like that? Not a person. A place.
I hand my partner a new idea before he's even had his caffeine. Every day. He tells me to focus, get good at one thing, and he's right, and I still can't stop.
Anyone else got a person in your life whose whole job is talking you off the ledge of your own brain?
I let my kid lead some days — his pace, his choice, his opinion counts. Even when it means we end up somewhere I never would've picked.
Anyone else parenting like that? Trusting the detour?
Everything's either "fine" or "stellar" to me. No in-between setting. The sunrise. The bouquet. The way my kid explained something for eleven straight minutes like it mattered to the whole world.
Anyone else run hot like that? Feel everything at full volume?
I used to think all of it made me too much. Too much feeling, too much idea, too much for one ordinary life to hold.
Turns out the women I respect most all run this way. Too much isn't the problem — it's the raw material. It's the S in S.O.W.E.D.™: Strategy starts with knowing exactly who you are, not who you shrunk yourself into.
So — who's with me? Drop a 🌻 below if you're a "too much" woman too. I want to see how many of us there are.
