in the past i would have spent so much more energy seeking out healthy food, skipping foods i really wanted, and eating things i wasn’t really excited about.
the more you learn about food and nutrition the more you realize that a few less nutritious meals aren’t going to make or break you, and you’ll be happier in the long run because you’re not restricting. plus when you have a good foundation of healthy eating (something i am constantly emphasizing with my clients), it’s easy to return to it after an irregular period like a vacation.
in my everyday life i’m hitting protein goals, fibermaxxing, and eating whole unprocessed foods.
i did have my eye on a few healthy spots i wanted to try, but ultimately they were out of the way or inconvenient, so i decided not to derail a whole day for an omelette 🙃
anyway, if this vibes with you or you’re working on your understanding of and relationship with food, i hope you follow :)
