if anyone has ever referred to your luteal phase as *terror time* this is for you 👹

especially if you feel like you’re doing all the right things but you’re still taken down the week or two before you period.

i was seed cycling, eating balanced meals, exercising, etc. and still it felt like each month i was feeling worse.

cycle balance made a huge difference in my first month and the benefits increased every month. not only did it help a ton with my mood and irritability, it helped me feel mentally clearer, helped a lot with digestion the week before, and helped with cramps.

i didn’t expect it to become a staple for me but i’ve been taking it every month for over 2 years now and don’t plan to stop anytime soon!

i’ve long loved chinese medicine (there was a course on it in my nutrition program!) and believe it really works, esp when conventional medicine falls short.

comment 3FOODS below and i’ll send you my ebook on this approach to healthy meals - it’s life changing if you feel overwhelmed thinking about making healthy meals day in and day out.

this is my og 3 ingredient meal that checks all the boxes - protein ✅ fiber ✅ flavor ✅ - all from !

1. garlic chicken sausage (cut up and pan fried for a lil crispiness) (make the whole package 2 servings to get 31g protein)
2. cauliflower gnocchi (7g fiber in 1/2 bag) (i throw in the oven but it’s probably best in an air fryer)
3. kale and cashew pesto (any pesto works but i like this one!) i use about 2 tbsp

mix it all together and that’s it! a healthy balanced meal in minutes that tastes good, balances blood sugar, and supports gut health.

do we like this concept? more 3 ingredient meals? lmk below!

these prepared family meals might just save you!

cost breakdown: $7.12 per meal (can you get a meal for that much that isn’t gross fast food these days?) i’ve seen some stores say it’s $35 for these family meals, which would bring the total to $8.75 per meal. still good.

ingredients: really pretty good (i’ll post a photo in my stories). overall whole foods ingredients but some of them do have various seed oils if that’s something you’re aware of/avoiding. the option i chose had the least as far as i could tell (canola oil just in the green beans).

taste: way better than i expected! the chicken was juicy!

macros: 34 g of protein per serving!

other details: i found one portion really filling! i’ve heard you can also do a “build your own” if you go to the deli counter, but i went with one of the prefab options.

would i do it again? definitely.

i’m staying at my moms house this week and i don’t have all my usual tools/spices/etc and i wanted dinner to just be done, and this is the perfect scenario to grab one of these.

have you tried this yet?! i was honestly surprised at the quality and quantity for the price!
