So much gratitude 🙏🏽 thank you for sharing your beautiful energy with me. I love what I do and have been super excited about my Vagus Nerve Release Method. My understanding of the human body and how we process daily stresses has been insightful in trying to find a way to bring the mind-body connection. My method embodies a journey within, so that we can thrive on a different wavelength here in the now. I am grateful to be a part of a healing force that helps others feel connectedness of body, mind and spirit.

What is the vagus nerve?
The vagus nerve is the direct circuit of the parasympathetic nervous system and is responsible for the regulation of internal organ function. When the body perceives danger the sympathetic nervous system triggers the fight-or-flight response causing your heart rate and blood pressure to increase. Continuous surges of adrenaline can harm blood vessels, raise blood pressure and increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. If you experience chronic stress, lack of sleep, or any type of trauma, the body can get stuck in sympathetic fight-or- flight or dorsal vagal freeze and fold, when this type of response occurs it can leave you in a state of anxiety and depression, and feeling disconnected from your everyday life.

Nurturing a child back to themselves is pivotal and the act of self care is one of the most important tools you can offer. We often forget that children too experience anxiety and stress, but if we can help reduce these feelings we ultimately help a child develop better coping strategies along the way and into their adult lives.
