We have bought into the idea that love is the emotion we feel for another person, but this is an idealization. Although valuable, emotions represent only a part of who we are; therefore, they are only a part of love 💓
Emotions alone are primitive and can be dangerous and inefficient. Love goes beyond emotions.
I love my wife when I encourage her to study another career, even if that means less time together.
To love is to care, provide, promote, and project. You do not love only with emotions; you love above and sometimes despite them.
You fall in love with emotions but you love with consciousness. ✨💟
