After a fall, this client developed persistent shoulder pain that kept coming back.
Most people would focus on the painful spot and try to loosen the knot.
The problem?
The knot wasn’t the cause.
It was the body’s response to an injury that changed how the shoulder moved.
Instead of chasing symptoms, we assessed movement, muscle activation, compensation patterns, and how the nervous system was protecting the area.
When the body learns to move correctly again, the painful tissues often stop doing work they were never designed to do.
This is why some people get temporary relief from massage, stretching, cupping, or scraping, but the pain keeps returning.
Relief is important.
Understanding WHY the pain keeps coming back is where lasting results happen.
If you’ve been dealing with shoulder pain that never seems to fully resolve, there may be more going on than just a tight muscle.
