Seeking an OT/OTA with pediatric experience. This position would be 25-30+ a week in Longmeadow. Mentorship will be offered weekly. Our practice is 95% sensory processing and emotional regulation tots to adults, with our primary age range tots to teens. We additionally have a few fine motor, feeding, core strengthening, motor planning/ coordination and ocular motor kids. We are really looking for someone to grow with the practice. This practitioner should be like-minded, holistic in nature, who likes to play and have fun.
Required skills:
*Good time management skills
*Able to work independently and collaboratively
*Able to complete your notes and other documentation on-time
*Must be able to think on your feet
*Must be self-disciplined and be able
to multitask
*Must be comfortable talking with children and adults
*Experience working with neurodivergent children
*****Must be comfortable with relationship-based child-led play******
Desired skills:
*Experience with supporting children and families through their interoceptive awareness journeys
*Experience working with children and families with emotional regulation needs
*Experience working with children and families with retained reflexes
*Experience working with children and families on their sensory processing journeys
We have been interviewing practitioners for what it seems like months and our needs for this position keep growing! Additionally, we are losing one of our therapists in a few weeks as she is moving out of state😢 It is really important that our clients feel supported during this transition, so we need to hire soon.
