My teacher of Shamanic Practices would like to invite you to her Summer Solstice Ceremony. Here's her description and contact info below, if you'd like to attend:
Maestra BJ Brown: The Summer Solstice Ceremony is a beautiful, sacred celebration. I was given the blessing and responsibility of being a Pipe Carrier for my community in the early 1990’s. I've been steadfast in offering this ceremony for my inner circle since then, and more consistently for every Equinox and Solstices since 2011. The Lakota Soiux call their Pipe, Chanupa. The sacred pipe has many names. The Aztecan pipe is called Ixtut. The Ojibwe name for their pipe is Opwaagan. I’ll conduct the ceremony as I was taught by my first teacher. My facilitation is greatly influenced by other teachers - Elders with whom I’ve smoked or sat in the lodge, (Lipan-Apache, Ojibwe, Lakota Sioux, Dine-Navajo, and Aztecan).
There will be detailed instruction and story-telling as part of the Ceremony. If you’re called to attend, be assured there’s no requirement to speak or draw from the pipe.
I do not charge for us to come together in prayer.
