Every year either virtually or in person, we attend the Endometriosis Summit, where we hear from all the top surgeons and other health professionals on the topic of endometriosis. With almost every talk, we hear about how vital pelvic PT is in treating endometriosis patients, both pre/post surgery and especially for those who opt out of surgery.

Trouble is, not all pelvic therapists know how to identify when endometriosis is part of a patient’s history, nor do they know how to treat this very complex condition. We have a designated endometriosis clinical program where we address all aspects of dealing with this chronic condition.

Our team are experts in this area. We treat endometriosis/adenomyosis with a whole body/mind approach.

We have a blog post on our website about how we work with endometriosis patients. If you’re interested, check it out.

Michele, our founder, has been featured in several podcast episodes talking about endometriosis in detail. Check out our “as seen in” page to find those episodes.

Finding the best surgeon is important, but finding the right PT is equally as important. Our entire team is trained and mentored regularly by Michele and we confer about our patients all the time to ensure they are getting the best care possible.

We’re also huge advocates for our patients, we love empowering you with knowledge.

We’re here for you when you’re ready.

ATTENTION: Passionate Pelvic PTs
and/or Manual Ortho PTs with a desire to specialize in pelvic health.

We are looking for an amazing therapist to join our expert team. Our therapists are booked months in advance, and there is a growing need to help our patients.

If you want to join a team that is changing what pelvic PT looks like and is making a huge difference with people who are struggling with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, pregnancy/postpartum support, perimenopause and menopause, digestive issues, and you want to work in a place that values your time, is dedicated to your growth as a clinician and as a person, reach out to us.

On-the-job training and mentorship are two of our top priorities; no more practicing on an island by yourself.

Will consider new grads who have taken foundational pelvic work and have had hands-on clinical rotation in pelvic health.

Hiring link is in our bio and on our website.

This is pelvic therapy...
Many people think pelvic therapy is all about the pelvis, abdomen, and hips, or worse yet, some people think it’s about learning how to “Kegel”. (Don’t get me started on that one)

In reality, pelvic therapy (especially at Align PT) is about integrating all body systems because the pelvic floor does not work in isolation. It requires coordinated efforts from all the other body parts.

Truth be told, the rib cage, diaphragm, and upper half of the body play very important roles in pelvic health. So does the brain, spinal cord, and the fascial layer that encases them (the dura mater).

Our therapists are trained to treat those areas along with the abdomen and pelvis, legs, feet, etc.
That’s why we’re so good at what we do; we don’t leave any stone unturned. That’s one of the things that sets us apart.

Whole-body, whole-person treatment to uncover the roots of your issues.

💕 These shiny happy people I get to work with make me so proud. I keep hearing about all the wonderful things their patients are experiencing, meeting goals, feeling great!

I love their dedication and heart-centered approach. This photo was taken during one of our in-house trainings, practicing techniques for pregnant patients (and no, Mina’s not pregnant, just playing the role 😉)

🌟I couldn’t have asked for a better team.
In fact, we are looking for someone to join us as we’re in demand because of our excellent reputation for delivering holistic pelvic health care.

If you know a PT who wants to join us, someone with pelvic experience or a person with strong manual skills who wants to specialize in pelvic health, share this post please.

We have fun learning and growing together 🫶

❤️

May is EDS Awareness Month. And the awareness about it that stands out to us quite a bit is that it is very highly associated with Endometriosis.

The overlap is pretty significant, so since May is about bringing awareness to EDS, we wrote a blog to help inform you all about this connection.

I used to think my bendiness was a gift, a fun thing to show off when I was younger, but alas, it is a situation that can be problematic in so many ways.

What is EDS, how to know if you have it, what to do about it and how it relates to Endo are all in our latest blog post, check it out. Link in bio or on the blog page of our site.

21 years ago I married this guy. Who would have known back then that he’d be an integral part of my pelvic PT practice, talking to women about their pelvic symptoms and understanding it all? I’m so proud of him.

Working together as a married couple is both amazing and challenging at times but I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way.
We complement each other so well and I think we make a pretty great team.
Happy Anniversary to us!
I’m one lucky gal to have snagged this one.
Happy Anniversary to my love and my business partner. 💪❤️

Earlier in May, I was part of the Putting Menopause On The Map Panel of experts at the Longmont Museum.
It was such a fun event, very empowering and even entertaining.

We were surrounded by women who were there to learn more about what is happening in their bodies at this sometimes confusing time in life. We covered the whole gamut from hormone shifts, weight gain, bloating, digestive issues, to genitourinary symptoms of menopause, pelvic health, bone, cardiac health, nutrition, mental health, and exercise recommendations. Whew 😅

Perimenopause/Menopause are transition times for us when things aren’t always feeling so savory. It can be crazy confusing whether or not the changes are due to hormone shifts or other things.

Honestly, it kind of feels like we’re going through puberty in reverse, except the transition time can be much, much longer.

There are many symptoms associated with this transition, and the best part is that you don’t have to go it alone. We can actually help alleviate some of the symptoms, and we can also refer you to some really great practitioners who can help you with hormone and other kinds of support.

We wrote a Blog Post about what happens to your body, the symptoms, the physiology, and what we uniquely do as pelvic PTs to help you.
Check it out and let us know if you have any questions.

We treat so many endometriosis patients. If you’ve been seeking care for endometriosis, adenomyosis, and all the symptoms that go along with them, read Morgan’s review.

We’re so grateful to her for sharing her experience so that more people with endo/adeno can find the right kind of care. Not all pelvic PTs understand and can treat endo the way we do. It’s definitely a specialty within our pelvic field that requires the knowledge and expertise our team has.

So lucky to have such amazing team members. ❤️
