Headed to Cinque Terre tomorrow with a lunch stop at a hill town
Not only does the inReach mini not work in cities, like Florence and Rome, with narrow streets between high buildings, GPS for google maps is unreliable.
I plan to do a little hiking between towns. Maybe the trees won't get in the way of seeing the satellites

I bought a Garmin inReach MINI 2 for safety on solo hikes. Turns out it will publish my progress, if I ask it to. I am still setting it up.
