Wow!! I can’t believe the Awaken The Warrior Within… God’s Way Retreat is happening in less than 48 hrs.

A few friends ( that are helping) and I were out at the property today and it is so beautiful, peaceful and so much more.

Lots of prayer, planning, preparation and more prayer has gone into this retreat on Saturday.

There are times we wait, and wait some more on God to move in our lives, when in actuality God is waiting on us to step out in Faith and move towards Him.

This is exactly what happened and why Awaken The Warrior Within is going to be exactly what He wants it to be.

His Plan, His Purpose, His Passion, His Presence and His Peace.

When you are working on several projects, between coaching clients, along with putting together a fun women’s gathering thinking you have several weeks to finish preparing then you are reminded you have a mere 10 days…. YIKES‼️

What do you do???

Thank Jesus for giving you the strength and stamina & all that He is doing in the midst the preparing…..

Thank Jesus for faithful friends who are praying, helping prepare & serve, those sharing, and leading worship…

Thank Jesus that we have a beautiful place to gather…

Thank Jesus that He knows exactly who He is wanting to be there.

I guess we could call this a THANKFUL TUESDAY🥰

I always wonder why I procrastinate on certain things😳
Maybe I’m the only one that
does🤷‍♀️
But I’m kind of thinking I’m not🤔

Painting my office door has been one of those things that I have put off and put off. And now that it is done ✅ I’m very glad that I took charge and did it. I love the outcome.

Here are a few reasons why I think I have procrastinated this very small, but important project:

1. Bottom line I don’t like to paint‼️ I like the results of a nice fresh paint job but painting is not my thing.
2. With everyday projects I sometimes just get tired of doing them alone. Just being honest here. One of those things that single people need to get used to and after 20+ years of being single you would think I’d be used to it.
3. And last I was not sure what I actually wanted to do to the door as far as paint colors go. So making one more decision of the thousand that we get to make each week this one just seemed overwhelming as silly as that sounds. It’s what happened.

Yes there are so many reasons why we procrastinate. I know I’m not lazy I do know other things rise up to keep me from getting things accomplished.

My goal is to stop procrastination before it gets a hold of me again.

This last weekend I quietly celebrated as I do each year what happened on 8-8-2014

I took one of the biggest leaps of faith of my life.

I resigned from my full-time job and stepped out to begin Awaken Life Coaching and Supports LLC.

I didn't have all the answers.
I didn't know exactly how everything would unfold.
And honestly… I was afraid.
But I knew I couldn't stay where I was simply because it felt safe.
I had to trust God and take the step.
And there's something extra special about the date I chose—8-8-2014.
The number 8 is often associated with new beginnings, renewal, and a new chapter.

When I look back now, I can see how fitting that date was for the beginning of something God had placed on my heart.

That doesn't mean the journey has always been easy. There have been many challenges, uncertainty, lessons, disappointments, growth, and plenty of moments when I've had to remind myself to keep trusting God. There have also been many victories along the way🎉🎉

And twelve years later, I am grateful that I said YES‼️

I've learned that sometimes doing God's will requires us to risk what is comfortable for what is calling us forward.

Sometimes we want God to show us the entire path before we'll take the first step.

But faith doesn't always work that way.
Sometimes God simply says:
“Take the step. Trust Me with the rest.”

If there is something God has been placing on your heart, don't let fear or uncertainty convince you that you have to have everything figured out before you begin.
You may not know where the road will lead.
You may not feel ready.
You may be afraid.
Take the step anyway.
Your obedience today could be the beginning of something you can't even imagine yet.

August 8, 2014 was the beginning of a new chapter for me.
And twelve years later, I can say:
I'm so thankful I took the leap.
Here's to new beginnings, courageous faith, and trusting God with whatever comes next. ❤️
