Service Update 💙

The Community Wellness Center at 3150 Clifton Avenue in Lorain is currently experiencing a service disruption due to unforeseen circumstances.

We are actively working through the issue and are hopeful to resume services in some capacity starting next week.

We sincerely apologize for the disruption. We know how important these services are to the individuals and families we serve, and we appreciate your patience as we work toward reopening.

🩵 She’s back, and she outdid herself this time! 🕷️🕸️

Today, Riveon is excited to be part of the Sources of Strength Wellness Fair at Marion Steele High School! Our Prevention Specialist, Sarah, brought her creativity to the table (literally! 😉) with an awesome superhero-themed display full of resources, facts, and tips to help students make healthy choices, resist peer pressure, and stay drug-free. 🦸‍♀️💙

And that’s not all! Kacey is also on-site facilitating a second table focused on crisis services and helping students learn about the support available when they need it.

If you’re a student at Marion Steele High School, be sure to stop by, check out the tables, grab some resources, and say hello!

We love having the opportunity to connect with students, share helpful information, and remind them that support is always available when you need it. 💙

💙 A reminder to our community: Riveon is OPEN tomorrow and the Lorain County Crisis Recovery Center is always open and always ready for you!

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out for services or support, tomorrow is a great time to take that first step. All Riveon services will be open on Monday, October 12, and we’re here to help you find the support you need.

If you or someone you love needs immediate mental health or addiction support, the Lorain County Crisis Recovery Center is ALWAYS open: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can walk in anytime, day or night.

Tonight, we’re helping families navigate parenting in the digital age.

Join us live right here on Facebook this evening as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County hosts a conversation focused on social media, online safety and helping young people build healthier digital habits.

Can’t make it tonight? Two more sessions are coming up, including a Spanish-language session on October 20.

3,000 Moments of Hope. 💙

Since opening its doors on October 1, 2025, the Lorain County Crisis Recovery Center has been there for people when they needed a safe place, compassionate care and a path forward.

In its first year, the Lorain County Crisis Recovery Center has surpassed:

💙 3,000 visits
💙 1,700 individuals served
💙 100 individuals brought to the Center by law enforcement or EMS

Behind every number is a person. A story. A moment when someone reached out, or someone stepped in to help.

3,000 visits means 3,000 opportunities to remind someone: You are not alone. Hope is here. Help is here.

Thank you to staff, community partners, law enforcement, EMS and everyone who helps make the Lorain County Crisis Recovery Center a place where people can turn in a time of crisis.
