Life comes in seasons.
And motherhood does too. 🤍
There are seasons of holding their little hands…
and seasons of helping them spread their wings.
Seasons filled with school drop-offs, sports schedules, proud moments, navigating friendships, helping them through disappointments, loving them through every stage, praying over them, and proudly watching them become the people they are today.
Seasons of protecting, guiding, supporting, correcting, encouraging, listening, and eventually learning to stand beside them instead of in front of them.
As our children grow, change, and develop… we do too.
Motherhood stretches us.
It humbles us.
It teaches us.
And while we’re trying to guide and shape them, we’re also learning ourselves along the way.
It’s not always perfect.
We won’t always understand each other.
But through every season, one thing remains the same…
A mother’s love.
Steady in the chaos.
Present through the growth.
Rooted in unconditional love and support.
Some call this season the “empty nest.”
But I see it differently.
This is the season of launching our birds. 🕊️
Not focusing on what feels empty, but recognizing the foundation we built, the love we poured in, and trusting we’ve prepared them to spread their wings and soar.
More than anything, I’ve always wanted my children to know they are deeply loved, fully supported, and can always come home.
Because our children are forever pieces of our heart walking around outside of us.
The nest is never truly empty.
It’s filled with love, memories, prayers, lessons, and a bond that lasts forever.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women loving through every season. 🤍
