The learning never stops. ✨

This past week, Nurse Natasha and I spent three intensive days in a cadaver and anatomy lab to continue advancing our Botox and filler training.

There is no substitute for seeing facial anatomy firsthand. Every layer, every vessel, and every muscle reinforces why precision, technique, and anatomy matter so much in aesthetic medicine.

We were incredibly fortunate to learn from Julie Bass-Kaplan, one of the pioneers in aesthetic education. Her knowledge, humility, and passion for teaching made this one of the most valuable educational experiences I’ve had in my aesthetics journey.

We also met an amazing group of injectors who share the same commitment to learning, safety, and excellence. Those connections were just as valuable as the education itself.

Aging gracefully doesn’t mean trying to look 25 again — it means looking refreshed, healthy, and confident at every stage of life. ✨

As a PA, I believe aesthetic treatments should never look overdone or unnatural. My goal for myself and my patients is simple: to help people look like the best version of themselves.

For me, self-care includes healthy lifestyle habits, exercise, good skincare like Universkin, microneedling, devices such as the Alma Opus, and using the Alma TED for hair restoration. I also use conservative neurotoxin and filler treatments, and have now started incorporating biostimulators like Radiesse.

This journey is personal, and everyone’s approach to aging is different — and that’s okay. I’m grateful to continue learning in the field of aesthetics and to be surrounded by talented women in New Mexico like .np.chromeaesthetics and Karmella Salazar with who inspire and teach me along the way. 🤍
