Parvati invites us into the deeper meaning of union.

Her story is often told through her relationship with Shiva, but sacred union is not simply about finding another person. It begins with the relationship we hold within ourselves. Working with Parvati asks us to examine the places within ourselves that we have kept separate.

When working with the Goddess Parvati, ask yourself:

· Where am I still divided within myself?
· What parts of me have I kept separate that are asking to be brought into relationship with myself?
· What might become possible if I allowed them to meet?

Parvati works with the duality of strength and softness, independence and intimacy, desire and devotion. She embodies the relationship between being human and being divine.

She reminds us that the goal is not the elimination of difference, nor is it becoming whole through another. It is the meeting of distinct energies within ourselves without requiring either to disappear.

True intimacy requires presence. We must be willing to meet all parts of ourselves in sacred union in order to connect authentically with the world around us.

In my Color Therapy workshops, we will also be using the Family Constellations process as a tool to meet these parts of ourselves.

How often do we take the time to simply observe ourselves - not to judge or change what we see, but simply to notice?

The Enneagram gives us a way to observe the patterns that operate beneath our everyday thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We begin to notice what triggers us, what we avoid, how we protect ourselves, and the roles we automatically step into.

Our Enneagram type helps us understand the motivations beneath these patterns and why they have become such familiar ways of moving through the world.

The work begins when we can recognize a pattern as it is happening. But self-awareness is only part of the work.

We may understand our patterns and still reject the parts of ourselves we do not like. We may embrace the qualities we value while hiding or distancing ourselves from those that bring discomfort or shame.

The deeper work asks us to meet all of ourselves with compassion.

The Enneagram becomes more than a way of understanding ourselves. It becomes a practice of recognizing what we have rejected within ourselves and allowing those parts to belong.

We begin to understand that growth is not about becoming someone else, but developing a more honest and compassionate relationship with who we already are.
