Something very beautiful — and very revealing — happened during today’s ROOTS OF GROUNDING breathwork 🌿

The moment everyone laid down and we began breathing together… the energy in the room became very chaotic.

Not because something was “wrong.”

But because so many nervous systems were suddenly being invited into the present moment at the same time.

And I think that chaos says a lot about the way many of us live every day.

The difficulty of pausing. The discomfort of truly being here. The impulse to mentally leave the moment almost immediately.

Because many of us are physically present…but internally still moving.

Still anticipating.Still searching.Still holding.Still trying to get somewhere else.

And what felt very powerful today was witnessing how, little by little, through conscious connected breathing, that energy began reorganizing itself.

The room softened.

The breathing deepened.

People started arriving more fully into their bodies.

And this is one of the things I find most fascinating about breathwork:

what is unconscious starts becoming conscious.

The resistance. The tension. The urgency. The ways we leave ourselves. The difficulty of simply staying with what is.

Not to judge it.Not to fix it.

Just to finally see it.

And many people shared afterward that they experienced resistance.

Resistance to slowing down internally.Resistance to staying present.Resistance to simply breathing without trying to get somewhere.

And honestly… I think this is where grounding begins.

Not in forcing calm. Not in becoming “zen.”

But in building the capacity to stay connected to ourselves without immediately escaping the present moment.

Because grounding is not the absence of intensity.

It’s the body learning:“I can stay here.”

And there’s something profoundly powerful about breathing in community.

Nervous systems begin co-regulating.Bodies soften together.People land together.

And slowly, the room starts feeling less chaotic…and more human 🌿

Most people think emotions only exist in the mind.

But the body remembers too.

Every time we suppress tears.Hold our breath.Tighten the jaw.Push through exhaustion.Disconnect from what we feel in order to keep functioning…

the body adapts.

Not because something is wrong with us —but because the nervous system is incredibly intelligent.

At some point, holding everything together probably helped us feel safe, accepted, or able to survive.

But what we don’t fully process emotionally doesn’t simply disappear.

The body continues carrying it through tension, contraction, numbness, hypervigilance, overthinking, fatigue, or the constant need to stay “on.”

This is one of the reasons why breathwork can feel so emotional for some people.

Because breath directly affects the nervous system.

And when breathing deepens, something important begins to happen:

The body often stops bracing in the same way.

And when the body softens…emotions, sensations, memories, or energy that were being held beneath the surface can begin to move.

Sometimes through tears.

Sometimes through trembling.Sometimes through laughter.Sometimes through heat in the body.Sometimes through anger.Sometimes through complete stillness.

Every nervous system has its own language.

And often, these releases are not about “being dramatic” or “losing control.”

They are signs that the body no longer needs to hold everything with the same level of protection.

For many people, crying during breathwork is not sadness.

It’s relief.

Relief from holding.Relief from suppressing.Relief from carrying so much alone for so long.

And sometimes the tears arrive before the mind even understands why.

Because the body processes experience differently than the mind does.

The body doesn’t heal through explanation.

It heals through experience, support, connection, and COMPLETITION.

Motherhood has softened me in places I didn’t know were hard.

It has asked me to slow down, to listen deeper, to repair, to surrender, to laugh more, and to let go of the idea of perfection over and over again.

And then there’s Astra…teaching me daily that life is apparently better when wearing a princess crown, green sunglasses and carrying a bag bigger than your entire body 😄✨

Thank you, my love, for choosing me as your mama. For expanding my heart in ways I could have never imagined.

And thank you to — for your grounded masculine presence, your support, your tenderness, and for helping me create a version of motherhood and family life that feels truly aligned for us. One rooted in presence, consciousness, freedom and love.

And today I’m also deeply grateful for the village. For the mothers who see each other beneath the exhaustion, the joy, the doubts and the invisible labor. The ones who text “how are you really?”, who hold space, who share wisdom, clothes, tears, snacks, nervous systems and truth.

Motherhood was never meant to be carried alone.

To all the mothers nurturing little humans with love, presence and devotion — especially in a world that often asks us to move too fast — I see you.

May you remember that your presence matters more than perfection. That your nervous system matters too.And that love is not only in what we give our children, but in how we learn to stay connected to ourselves while raising them.

About last week’s Roots of Belonging… 🤍

It was beautiful to witness
how people started to belong a little more to themselves

And at the same time…
how a sense of belonging began to emerge in the group

There was more sharing during the integration
more openness
more honesty

Something about the intention of belonging
could really be felt in the body

People were speaking from a different place

Less from the mind
more from the body
from something more real

There were very intimate moments
very vulnerable moments

And there was something really powerful in that

Not because anything was forced
but because it was allowed

Thank you for being part of it 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers 🤍

Today I honor motherhood as that space where life invites you, again and again, to return to the present moment.
Where judgment softens.
Where the “shoulds” lose their grip.
And where the only thing that truly exists… is what is here now.

For me, being a mother is a constant practice of surrender.
Of letting go of control.
Of loving unconditionally—even when you’re tired, even when you don’t have the answers.

And on this path… community is everything.

Because there are moments when a look, a word, an embrace from another mother holds you more than anything else.
Moments when remembering you’re not alone… changes everything.

Today I celebrate that invisible web that holds us.
That tribe that listens, that nurtures, that walks beside us.

To all mothers, in all their forms:
thank you for your presence, your devotion, your love.

We are not alone. We never were. 🤍

Most of us didn’t learn how to belong

We learned how to read the room
how to say the right thing
how to adjust
how to not be too much

We learned how to fit in

But belonging is something else

It’s not about being accepted
it’s about not leaving yourself

Not shrinking
not editing who you are
not holding parts of you back

And if you’re honest…

you probably know where you’re still adapting

Just noticing this… already shifts something

✨ I’ll be holding a Breathwork Session: Roots of Belonging

🗓 Thursday 30
🕤 10:30 – 12:30
📍 Zuladen - Los Angeles

A space to begin shifting this…
from the body 🤍

If you feel called, you can join through the link

There’s something about this theme…
that feels really alive right now

I’ve been having many conversations around belonging lately
and something keeps opening in them…

There’s honesty
there’s depth
there’s something that softens when we speak about it

Sometimes we don’t even have words for this…

And when we come together,
we begin to give it shape

We start to find language
for something that lives more in the body than in the mind

And that alone…
can already shift how it feels

So before the breathwork,
I felt called to open a space for it

✨ A free group Zoom
to explore belonging together

A space to share
to listen
to hear ourselves in others

You don’t need to have answers
just a willingness to be there

🗓 Wednesday, April 29
🕤 9:30 AM (LA time)

Open to everyone

If this resonates…

write “belonging” and I’ll send you the Zoom link

Saturday felt really special 🤍

In this beautiful space…
four couples came to breathe together

Each couple met exactly what they needed
in their own timing…
in their own way

We moved through moments of connection…
and also moments of discomfort

Because the nervous system needs both

Through breath, we explored the body…
visiting places of openness…
and places that still hold protection

Gently moving between connection and distance
through pendulation

Not to fix anything…
but to allow something deeper to reorganize

And from there…
something softens
something opens
something shifts

Still integrating all that was felt in that room ✨

So much gratitude for everyone who made this possible 🤍

To ,
for holding the space with me with so much presence and care

And to — especially Adrienne —
for taking such beautiful care of us
and making the whole experience feel even more magical ✨

If this resonates… more soon 🤍

, This is the space where we’ll be this Saturday 🤍

Closer is a breathwork experience for couples
created to slow things down…
and reconnect from a deeper, more honest place.

✨ Saturday — Sound Bird Center, Culver City
🕊 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
(Arrival from 9:45 AM)

During these 3 hours, you’ll be guided through:

– gentle connection practices
– conscious connected breathwork
– a space that is intentionally held and supported

Including the presence of a Reiki Master,
so both of us are holding the space for you 🤍

This experience is for couples who feel…

– a bit of distance
– stuck in the same patterns
– or simply a desire to feel closer again

Not by fixing anything.

But by creating space…
to feel, to soften, and to meet each other differently.

✨ $222 per couple
✨ Limited spots available

And I also understand…

going from “not knowing this work”
to joining a 3-hour experience
can feel like a big step.

So we can start gently 🤍

I offer a 15–20 min call for both of you
where I can explain everything more personally,
answer your questions,
and help you feel if this is aligned for you.

No pressure.

Just a first step.

If something in you feels curious…
or even a little unsure but drawn…

you’re very welcome 🤍
