Longevity gets a lot of attention right now. Supplements. Wearables. Red light. Cold exposure. Peptides. Expensive technology.

I’m interested in all of it. But I’m even more interested in the foundation underneath it.

How well are we sleeping? Are we building and maintaining muscle? How are we managing stress and supporting our nervous system?

Are our daily habits actually supporting the life and health we want five, ten, or twenty years from now?

Wellness optimization is about looking at the whole picture and identifying where meaningful changes can be made now.

Because living longer is only part of the conversation.

I want to live well longer.

What is it like to walk through life and have to face your fears?

Today was a really big day for me. I knew the waves were big just like they were exactly a year ago. Every duck dive under a wave that I took today last year kept flashing before my eyes and when I lost my board on a wave it all came rushing back. I envisioned that my fin was going to come down and slice me open again. And what would my life look like?

But I went out in the water anyways. I said a prayer of protection. I was cautious… Maybe overly cautious today and got out sooner than I normally would. I felt like I didn’t want to push my luck because today wasn’t just about catching a wave. It was about walking through my fear. Walking through a traumatic event and getting to the other side.

If there’s anything I’ve learned in the last decade, there can be purpose in pain. I even have a tattoo that says, “Strength, Courage and Struggle” because without struggle you would never know how to show up strong and walk through life with courage.

And through all of the hardships, and storms, I’ve kept walking, kept showing up.

I've had to start over more times than I can even tell you. After cancer. After loss. After becoming a single mom. After realizing that parts of my life no longer fit the person I was becoming.

Every single one of these things asked something different of me.
I had to learn how to trust myself, to have faith again, protect my peace, let go of what wasn’t meant for me, and to believe there was still something beautiful ahead because I know from experience, that the sun comes up after the storm.. Every single time.

If you're standing at the beginning of your next chapter, keep going. You got this and if you need support DM me the word “SUPPORT” and I’d love to connect with you.

We all go through hard seasons. Grief deserves to be felt. Pain deserves to be acknowledged. Processing what you've been through is part of healing.

But there's a difference between honoring your past and building your life around it. When this old timer said, “it’s better looking forward at the ocean” it just felt so right understanding the deeper meaning. It’s ok to talk about your past, it’s a big part of your life, but, it’s also ok to look forward and heal from it.

Healing isn't pretending it didn't happen.
Healing is allowing yourself to believe there's still something beautiful waiting in front of you.

Keep looking toward the horizon. Heal and look at the beauty.

Let’s talk about abundance. A friend recently wished me abundance and a few minutes later, a bird pooped on me.

Yup.. through my glasses and on my face. My first thought, “isn’t that good luck?”

It made me laugh, and also made me think about how often we're looking for abundance in the big things like a promotion, a relationship, a financial breakthrough, while completely missing the tiny reminders that life is already pretty darn incredible.

Maybe abundance isn't always what shows up in your bank account or with rainbows and sparkles.

Maybe it's laughter with a friend, a morning hike, feeling good, a sunset, or even getting pooped on by a bird.

I'll take all of it.

You don’t owe everyone an explanation for who you’re becoming.

Some people only understand the version of you that made sense to them.

Growth can make relationships uncomfortable not because you’re doing something wrong, but because you’re no longer playing the role people became accustomed to.

Let yourself change.

This post is for those in the trenches right now. I see you and I’ve been there. Seven years ago, my life changed forever.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant, and over the years that followed I experienced more loss, surgeries, complications, healing, joy, and growth than I ever could have imagined.

There were seasons that honestly felt like they would last forever and that I’d never find myself again even though part of me knew I would.

If you're in one of those seasons right now, I want you to know this...
Life won't always feel this heavy.

You may not become the person you were before, but you can become someone even stronger, wiser, and more connected to what truly matters.

I don't celebrate what happened but I do honor myself and my journey.

Such an exciting announcement!!!

I’ve officially expanded my 16-week coaching program into a whole-person optimization experience, and it’s available NOW.

I’ve been watching where wellness is going, and people aren’t just thinking about feeling better today. We’re thinking about what we can do now to support how we feel, function, and age for the future.

My coaching program has always been about more than physical health. It’s for people navigating that “now what?” phase—reconnecting with who you are, finding purpose and direction again, and creating a life that actually feels like the one YOU want. And now, we’re also looking at how to support the body that carries you through that life and longevity.

How can I better regulate my nervous system and manage stress? How can I support better sleep and recovery? What role do movement and strength play in how I function and age? How can nutrition, gut health, and everyday habits support my overall wellbeing? And what changes can I make in my environment, mindset, and daily life to support the person I’m becoming?

And yes—we’re talking about longevity, healthspan, and biohacking, but through a whole-person lens.

We start with a comprehensive assessment that becomes your personalized optimization plan, then spend 16 weeks working through the Live Free Wellness Pillars: REGULATE, RESTORE, STRENGTHEN, NOURISH, and ALIGN.

We’ll bring together evidence-informed health and longevity education, accessible biohacking, nervous-system work, sleep and recovery, movement, metabolic and gut health, mindset, purpose, and the transformational coaching that has always been at the heart of my work.

Because this isn’t just about living longer. It’s about supporting your body, mind, spirit and health so you can live your life well.

And to CELEBRATE the launch, I’m honoring my previous program pricing for a limited number of spots.

The expanded program is officially open for 1:1 and group coaching. If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, DM me OPTIMIZE and let’s talk.

I didn't solve any big problems today.

I just gave my body a chance to exhale and find my center.

It’s so important to identify the things in your life that can help you reground and find your center again.

Even if you can’t take a couple hours, find even that one minute of deep breathing, mindfulness, or a scream in a pillow that helps you release and breathe again.

I really don’t talk a lot about the specifics of how I live but over the years, I’ve stepped more into clean living.

I’ve used a reusable water bottle for close to 20 years. Plastic is a hard no for me.

But a few years ago, I learned about REFILL stores and let me tell you, I was overwhelmed with how I was going to save the world all at once but what I quickly learned was that you change one item at a time until most products are refillable!.

Big changes usually start with small decisions that are repeated over time.

And living this way, helps me feel like I'm contributing in a way that aligns with my values.
