Well with Annie Functional Nutritionist helping women with weight loss, energy and gut health

One of the biggest questions I hear from people taking GLP-1s is:

“What am I supposed to eat when I’m just not hungry?”

When your appetite is significantly reduced, it can be easy to assume that eating less automatically means you’re doing everything right.

But your body still needs nutrition. 🤍

And when you’re eating smaller amounts, what you eat becomes even more important.

Think about prioritizing things like:

✨ Protein to help support and preserve muscle
✨ Fiber to support digestion and fullness
✨ Nutrient-dense foods to help you meet your needs
✨ Hydration throughout the day
✨ Smaller, balanced meals when larger portions feel overwhelming

The goal isn’t to force yourself to eat huge meals.

It’s learning how to make the food you are able to eat work harder for your body so you’re supporting your health alongside your weight-loss goals.

And because I know figuring that out can feel overwhelming, I put together a resource to help. 🌿

If you’ve been on a GLP-1 for more than 6 months this is for you.

Because losing weight is only one piece of the picture.

What’s happening to your muscle?
Are you eating enough protein?
How is your metabolism adapting?
How are you feeling beyond the number on the scale?
And most importantly what’s the plan for your long-term health?

These are the conversations I wish more people were having while using a GLP-1.

I’ve worked with clients who were seeing results on the scale but still felt like something was missing. They were dealing with plateaus, low energy, difficulty eating enough to support muscle, or anxiety about what would happen if they eventually reduced or stopped their medication.

That’s where looking at the whole person matters.

Your nutrition. Your muscle. Your metabolism. Your labs. Your lifestyle. Your symptoms. Your goals.

GLP-1s can be an incredibly helpful tool for the right person but the medication shouldn’t be the entire plan.

Whether you’re currently taking a GLP-1, considering one, or working with your prescribing provider on what comes next, having the right nutrition and lifestyle support can help you build habits designed to last beyond the medication.

You’ve worked too hard to only focus on the number on the scale. 🤍

This is what finding your answer actually looks like.

Not another diet to try. Not another supplement to add. Not another doctor telling you everything looks fine.

Actually sitting down. Actually digging in. Actually looking at the full picture of what is going on inside your body.

This is what I do every single day for my clients.

I look at the things that get missed. The hormones that are slightly off. The cortisol that is quietly storing fat. The gut that is struggling to absorb nutrients. The mold toxins that nobody thought to test for. The blood sugar swings that are driving every craving and every crash.

Because here is what I know after working with thousands of women — the answer is always there. It just takes someone who knows where to look.

And when we find it everything changes.

The energy comes back. The weight starts moving. The brain fog lifts. The cravings stop. The mood stabilizes.

That is not magic. That is what happens when you finally stop guessing and start knowing.

If you have been searching for your answer for a long time — I would love to be the person who helps you find it.

Most women are one root cause away from feeling completely different.

Not one more diet.
Not one more workout.
Not one more supplement that doesn’t do anything.

One root cause.

And that’s exactly what nobody has ever helped them find.

I’ve worked with thousands of women who came to me exhausted, frustrated, and completely defeated.

Women who had done everything “right.”
Women who had seen doctor after doctor.
Women who were told over and over again, “Your labs look normal.”

But normal isn’t always the same as optimal. And a standard lab panel doesn’t always tell us the whole story.

When we dig deeper looking at things like hormones, cortisol, gut health, functional labs, mold exposure, and blood sugar that’s when the pieces can finally start coming together.

The fatigue.
The weight that won’t move.
The brain fog.
The mood changes.
The gut issues.
That feeling like your body is working against you.

Sometimes these things aren’t random. They’re connected.

And my job is to help uncover what may be driving them.

Because when we stop guessing and start understanding what’s actually going on inside your body, we can finally build a plan around you. 🤍

What does it actually look like to work with me? 🤍

It starts with understanding you not just what you eat.

Your health history. Your symptoms. Your lifestyle. Your labs. Your goals. And all of the pieces that may have brought you to where you are today.

From there, we build a plan that is completely personalized to what your body needs.
That might mean nutrition changes, functional lab testing, targeted supplements, blood sugar support, stress management, sleep support, reviewing food logs or simply working through what’s feeling challenging right now.
And as we learn more? Your plan evolves with you.

I don’t believe in handing you a generic meal plan and sending you on your way. I believe in looking at the whole picture, using real data when appropriate, and giving you the education and ongoing support to understand your body along the way.

Because you deserve more than another list of foods to eat and avoid.
You deserve a roadmap that was actually built for you. 🌿

Years of fatigue. Brain fog that won't lift. Weight that won't move no matter what you do.

And every doctor visit ends the same way "your labs look normal."

But here's what most conventional doctors aren't checking for.

Mold.

Mold toxicity is one of the most underdiagnosed root causes affecting women today. And the symptoms are so easy to dismiss exhaustion, brain fog, weight loss resistance, anxiety, gut issues, food sensitivities, hormone imbalances that most women spend years chasing symptoms without ever finding the real cause.

You don't have to see mold for it to be affecting your health. You can be exposed through your home, your workplace, or even a building you spent time in years ago. And the effects can linger in your body long after the exposure is gone.

This is exactly why I test before I treat.

Using functional lab testing I can evaluate whether mold toxins are present in your body and map out a personalized plan to help you heal instead of guessing and hoping something sticks.

If you've been struggling with symptoms that nobody can explain mold could be your missing piece.

What if the reason you still don’t feel well… has nothing to do with your diet? 👀

This week, mold has been a recurring piece of the puzzle for several of my clients and seeing the improvements that can happen when we start looking at the whole picture has been such an important reminder.

Because functional health isn’t just about what you eat.

It’s about slowing down, looking at your symptoms, your environment, your history, your labs, your lifestyle and asking, “What is your body trying to tell us?”

There isn’t one answer that fits every person. And there shouldn’t be one protocol that does either.

That’s why working with a practitioner who takes a thoughtful, individualized approach matters so much. 💛

If you’ve been doing “all the right things” but still don’t feel like yourself, maybe it’s time to look a little deeper.

Protein deserves the attention. Fiber deserves more of it. 🌱

We’ve become so focused on hitting our protein goals that many of us have forgotten about another nutrient that’s just as important.

Protein helps preserve muscle, supports metabolism, and keeps you satisfied.

Fiber helps stabilize blood sugar, nourish your gut microbiome, support healthy digestion, improve cholesterol, and increase fullness, making it an important part of a sustainable weight loss plan.

Most women should aim for at least 25 grams of fiber each day, but most of us aren’t getting enough.

Instead of only asking:

✔️ “Did I eat enough protein today?”

Try asking:

🌱 “Did I eat enough plants today?”

My favorite fiber-rich foods:
• Artichokes
• Chia seeds
• Lentils
• Black beans
• Avocados
• Raspberries
• Kiwi
• Broccoli
• Oats
• Ground flaxseed

What’s one plant food you’ll add to your plate this week? 🌿

Your body has been trying to tell you something for years... are you listening? 💛

The fatigue.
The cravings.
The stubborn weight.
The brain fog.
The bloating.

These aren't just things you have to "live with."

They're clues.

Your body is constantly communicating with you but instead of masking the symptoms, it's time to understand why they're happening in the first place.

You deserve answers that go deeper than another diet, another supplement, or another quick fix.
