Today felt like a big one.

It was a test day—pushing myself, tracking my time, seeing what I’m really capable of… and I walked away thinking “WOW! I did a kick ass job!”

Not because it was easy (it wasn’t), and not because everything was perfect (it wasn’t that either)… but because I showed up fully and pushed through when it got hard.

This year I’ve been leaning into strength training in a deeper way, and days like today remind me why. It’s not just physical—it’s mental. It’s learning how to stay with yourself in the discomfort, to keep going when your mind wants to quit, and to come out the other side stronger.

I’m really proud of myself today! ❤️ Plain and simple.

And if you’re in a season where you’re being tested too, this is your reminder that showing up and giving it your all is something to be proud of.

Even when it’s tough.
Especially when it’s tough. 💪✨

Another year around the sun 🌊✨

Every birthday, I come back to the same place — the beach.

I sit, I breathe, and I reflect on the year behind me… not just what I did, but who I became.

The growth no one saw.

The hard moments I moved through.

The small wins that quietly changed everything.

We’re so quick to celebrate everyone else, but we rush past our own progress like it doesn’t count.

It counts.

Self-celebration isn’t selfish — it’s necessary.

It builds confidence.

It creates gratitude.

It reminds you that you are evolving, even when it feels slow.

So today, I’m celebrating me.

Not perfectly, not loudly… just honestly.

And I’m stepping into this next year grounded, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead.

Try it — reflect, acknowledge, celebrate yourself.
You deserve that. 🎂🤍

Last night I attended a local conversation about perimenopause and menopause, and one thing stood out clearly:

Women aren’t just looking for information…they’re looking for support in how to actually live through this transition.

We hear advice like:
😴 sleep more
😎 reduce stress
💪 strength train
⚖️ balance hormones

But knowing what to do and implementing sustainable lifestyle changes are two very different things.

As a board certified health coach, this is where I spend most of my time - helping women connect the dots between medical guidance and real life.

Perimenopause and menopause aren’t problems to “fix,” but transitions that deserve education, compassion, and individualized support.

If you’re navigating this stage and feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone 🤍

Let’s talk. I can help.

🌿🍊 From Blossoms to Mandarins 🍊🌿

Remember back in May when I got this little mandarin tree and shared how excited I was to start gardening? Well… look at these babies now 😭💛 Almost fully grown! Watching them come to life has been such a sweet reminder that growth takes time, patience, and consistent care.

Just like with our health journeys, the small, steady actions we take each day might not show “results” right away, but beneath the surface, so much is happening. 🌱

You water, you nurture, you trust. And then one day… you notice fruit. 🍊✨

So here’s to celebrating slow growth…in our gardens, in our bodies, and in our lives!

🌊 Yesterday, on my walk along the beach, I stumbled upon a beginners volleyball meetup. What struck me most was the joy, laughter, and yes, a little awkwardness of people trying something new for the very first time.

✨ There’s real courage in being a beginner. Science even backs this up: research shows that learning new skills as adults keeps our brains more adaptable (neuroplasticity), boosts confidence, and can even increase overall life satisfaction.

💡 As a health coach, I see how often we hold ourselves back out of fear of “not being good” at something. But here’s the truth: every expert was once a beginner. Read that again! Everyone starts somewhere and eventually, we gain the skills to get better and more skilled. ✨The bravery to show up matters more than the outcome.

So—what’s one new thing you’ve been curious to try? Big or small, let yourself be a beginner. That’s where growth begins. 🌱

Even health coaches have weeks where life wins. 🙋‍♀️

Between summer schedules, getting the kids to and from camps, activities, and hang outs (apparently it’s “cringe” to call it playdates when your kids are older lol) , travel, and just trying to manage all the things, my workouts took a back seat these past few weeks.

And you know what? That’s life. It happens.

But here’s the thing I remind my clients (and myself): every day is a new day. You don’t have to wait until Monday, or the first of the month, or “when things calm down” (spoiler: they rarely do 😉).

So today, I showed up for myself again. I moved my body. And it felt good.

If you’ve fallen off your routine—whether it’s exercise, eating well, or getting enough sleep—this is your gentle nudge: you can start again today. One small step is all it takes to get back in rhythm. 💪
