UCLA researchers are currently seeking American Indian and Alaska Native individuals living in California who are experiencing or suspect they may be experiencing mild memory loss or cognitive changes.

By sharing your experiences, you can help contribute to research focused on understanding dementia in Native communities.

Participation includes:
📍 Must reside in California
💬 One-on-one interview conducted online or by phone
⏰ Approximately 1 to 2 hours
💵 $70 compensation for participation

This October, for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re bringing attention to the realities of violence in Native communities. From physical harm to emotional manipulation and psychological abuse, these experiences impact Native men, women, families, and generations.

At UAII, we believe healing begins with feeling safe, supported, and heard. Through culturally centered care and community resources, we’re committed to breaking the stigma surrounding domestic violence and creating spaces where survivors feel empowered to seek support.
