We’re launching our upcoming Body & Lifestyle Project: Fitness training that factors in nutrition, supplements, medical history, sleep and recovery, and my personal favorite - positive mental health and growth.
We’ve spent the last 2 years providing both primary care medicine with fitness training, knowing that a stronger and fitter body and mind offer an incredible number of health benefits. The coaches and I have seen dozens of clients transform their habits with smarter food choices and thoughtfully programmed training.
We’ve discovered that this effective way to change risk factors works best when based in regular training - an ongoing commitment and a whole person approach. Not only has it been effective - it’s been super rewarding to connect and create positive experiences of personal growth.
It’s time for Preventive and Lifestyle Medicine to extend, maybe radically, beyond the walls of the traditional medical system (where we wait for things to break and then get them fixed) to taking a proactive approach to optimizing our health so we can feel great in the present, and invest in long-term well-being.
