A stroke is no joke ❤️🩹
I’ll break it down a little more here than I did in the video. Upon awakening, your platelets are thicker, and because your cardiovascular system has been in super calm mode, just the act of waking up… -Think of starting your car- Everything in your body lights up to get you ready for your day. If you get older, you have to note that the body and all its systems need to be cared for.
So jumping out of bed and going straight to intensity exercise is not a wise move
It’s best to guzzle 16 to 20 ounces of room temperature water while you relax for a couple minutes sitting up on your bed. Don’t add caffeine until about an hour after waking. Yep! I know that’s a rough one. Have a little bit of herbal tea. We have to adapt new habits. I believe you can do it.
Eat something within 30 minutes of waking; don’t starve yourself. This stress on the body is no good.
If you want your caffeine, wait an hour after waking up
Before breakfast do some stretching or take a small walk around your block.
That releases nitric oxide, which helps your platelets not be so sticky, which can cause clots.
There’s a lot of science behind this but I don’t want to get into all the details.
