Sensory Fun Under the Sun with Starchild Interventions

Get ready for a day of colorful creativity and hands-on discovery at our Playdate in the Park! Your child will love diving into sensory crafts designed to engage their senses and spark their imagination—from squishy, textured masterpieces to glittery, scented fun.

These calming and stimulating activities are perfect for building focus, fine motor skills, and joyful expression. We’ll have something for every age, so feel free to invite friends or extended family to join in the fun.

Just be sure everyone signs up—space is limited so we can ensure plenty of materials and magic for each child!

Mark your calendars! The 2024 Special Olympics Southern California Fall Games are happening this weekend, November 16th and 17th, at Fountain Valley Park! 🎉

This is a fantastic opportunity to cheer on amazing athletes competing in a variety of sports, including golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. ⚽️🏀🎾

There's something for everyone at the Fall Games! The event will also feature a festival, a healthy athletes program, and a young athletes program. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Here's a quick rundown of the schedule (for more details, visit the event website: https://sosc.org/fallgames/

-Festival Sat & Sun: 9:30am to 3pm
-Opening Ceremony: Saturday, Nov 16, 9:00 AM
-Festival: Open to the public, featuring interactive games and booths for the WHOLE family
-Healthy Athletes Program: Free health screenings for Special Olympics athletes.
-Young Athletes Program: Sports skills demonstrations and practice for athletes ages 2-7.
-Athlete Celebration: Saturday, Nov 16, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (open to registered athletes only)
