A little behind the scenes of today’s Ultherapy treatment🧖🏻‍♀️

We’re putting this one to the test and can’t wait to see how her results develop over the next few months.

Stay tuned for the before & after 👀

This week’s favorites, but make it in-office edition 👩🏻‍⚕️✨ A few of the products, treatments and things I’ve been reaching for (and recommending) on repeat lately.

Should I make this a weekly series? 🤍

A before & after worth sharing🙌🏼

This patient came to me with a noticeable “crater” in her forehead, and we took a regenerative approach to help improve the appearance of the area. Her treatment plan included a combination of saline injections, exosomes, and microneedling to help resurface and gradually soften the indentation💉✨

This before & after shows just how much progress can happen with the right treatment plan and patience!

A few of my favorite looks from Barcelona—because taking care of your skin is important, but so is taking time to enjoy life🙌🏼

Which look is your favorite? Let me know below, and follow along for more skincare, beauty, and a little bit of everything in between🩷

My first ever GRWM... and we’re doing it from Barcelona🇪🇸✨

Come get ready with me while I chat about a few newer beauty treatments I’ve been into lately, what I think of them as a dermatologist, and whether they’re actually worth the hype

If you love skincare, beauty, and honest dermatologist takes, stick around- there’s lots more to come! 🤍

Dermatologist: Off Duty. 🇮🇹🍨

Even dermatologists need time to unplug.

Taking a break, exploring new places, learning something new (like making authentic gelato in Florence 🍦 with the master gelato maker ), and simply being present is just as important as taking care of your skin.

Because caring for yourself isn’t just about skincare—it’s about making space for joy, rest, connection, and experiences that fill your cup!

I’ll be back in the office soon—but for now, I’m soaking up Europe (with plenty of SPF, of course 😉)☀️🤍

Summer vacation = peak sunscreen excuse season☀️🧴

As a board-certified dermatologist, these are some of the most common myths I hear every summer:

❌ “I’m sitting under an umbrella, so I’m protected.”
🏖️ Umbrellas provide shade, but UV rays reflect off sand, water, concrete, and other surfaces—so you’re still getting significant exposure.

❌ “I’m on a plane, so I don’t need to worry about the sun.”
✈️ Airplane windows don’t block UVA rays—which contribute to premature aging and skin damage—and can still pass through. At cruising altitude, UV exposure is also more intense because there’s less atmosphere filtering the sun’s rays.

❌ “I have a base tan, so I don’t need sunscreen.”
🌞 Even tanned skin can continue to accumulate UV damage that contributes to premature aging and skin cancer risk.

❌ “If I’m not burning, I must be fine.”
🔥 Not all sun damage results in a burn. UVA rays can silently contribute to wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, collagen breakdown, and increase your long-term risk of skin cancer.

❌ “It’s cloudy, so I don’t need sunscreen.”
☁️ UV rays don’t disappear when the sun does. They can still pe*****te through clouds and cause skin damage.

Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every day, reapply every 2 hours (and after swimming or sweating), and don’t forget often-missed areas like your ears, lips, neck, hands, and the tops of your feet, your future skin will thank you🤍

Laser can improve melasma… or permanently worsen it. The difference is understanding the biology.
Melasma is not “just hyperpigmentation.”
It’s hormonally driven.
It’s triggered by heat.
It’s worsened by visible light (yes — even indoors).
When you treat the biology — not just the brown — this is what’s possible. ✨
This didn’t happen overnight.
It happened with strategy, protection, and consistency.
Melasma is chronic.
But dramatic improvement is absolutely achievable.
Save this if you’re struggling with melasma!
