Akira isn’t just a film — it’s a scar left on the future of humanity. 🚨

When it comes to perfect manga replica tattoos, the process feels “ru yu de shui” to me — where everything flows naturally (as I mentioned in my previous post).

For me, this isn’t just about recreating a manga panel.
It’s about remembrance, and sharing a collective emotion.

Two nights ago, I was already planning to share this Akira design as my next post, thinking through the caption.

Then yesterday, a different client came in for a tattoo — and he was wearing a shirt with the exact same Akira design.

Moments like this make me pause, and quietly appreciate how subtle — and precise — the world can be.

“Tui & La” 🎏
Here are a few fish-related pieces I could find.
Some artists love tattooing snakes, some love tigers — if I had to focus on one living being, it would probably be fish. Maybe it’s because I’m drawn to water. Every time I tattoo a fish, it just feels right.

Fish carry such beautiful meanings too — like the Chinese saying“如鱼得水” (as natural and free as a fish in water).
I have many more pieces saved on my phone… I’ll share them slowly 🙂
