Working out is a huge part of my life and I love it. These days though I don’t have as much time to hit a longer workout between clients, work, life, etc but I always find time to squeeze something in which is why these 15 minute full body workouts are great! I’d love to share more of these as a way to inspire you to move more no matter what your schedule is so let me know if you like this and what kinds of workouts you’d like to see 🤙🏼

15 MINUTE FULL BODY KETTLEBELL WORKOUT

5 Moves 3 Rounds

Perform each move for 40 seconds then 20 second rest before you start the next move

KB swings
KB goblet reverse lunges
KB bent over alt rows
KB halos
kB push press (alt arms every 5 reps)

I’ve tried a bunch of different morning routines and some things stuck but a lot of things didn’t. For me, I’ve found a few things that really resonate and are easy to follow no matter where I am. Here they are:

1. Hydrate: I start every morning with a big glass of water and I add salts, lemon juice and if I have it on hand, fulvic minerals.
2. Next, I try to journal or at the very least write down 3 things I’m grateful for. Starting my day with gratitude always gets my mind and body aligned.
3. Trampoline: this is just low impact fun and gets the blood flowing. I love it.
4. Stretch: minimum of 5 minutes stretching. Going through full range of motion movements for all of my joints.
5. Coffee: I grind my own beans and always add some type of movement into this daily practice.
6. Walk: my wife and I go for a walk around our neighborhood. It’s quality time for us and is a great way to already get your steps in - I always aim for 10k steps everyday regardless of whatever else I’m doing.

expression session at the park…

as I finished monkeying around at the park today I couldn’t help but notice that I was the only “adult” playing like a kid. I didn’t have some structured plan that I followed to a “T”. There were no sets and reps. I didn’t write anything down. I saw the monkey bars so I swung on those. I jumped up on another bar and climbed that. I stretched and let my body tell me what it needed. The tree limbs spoke to me so I climbed those, too. Any why not? What’s the point of all this working out if I can’t use my body freely, have fun, be curious, and explore? When did we lose that playful curiosity as adults?
