Mental Health Has No Gender 🌿

Men experience stress, anxiety, burnout, and depression too — and talking about it should never be taboo.
This month, we’re encouraging honest conversations, emotional awareness, and supportive communities where men feel safe being vulnerable. Mental health deserves attention, care, and compassion. 🌿

our voice matters, and this Friday is a chance to use it.

Join GRAAHI for our Juneteenth Community Conversation, where community members can ask questions, learn more about voting rights and voter registration, and better understand how policies affect health, housing, education, food access, safety-net programs, and everyday life in West Michigan.

Rounding out our dynamic panel is Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks. Winnie brings a strong record of public service, community leadership, and commitment to West Michigan. Representing Michigan’s 29th Senate District, which includes parts of Grand Rapids, East Grand Rapids, Grandville, Kentwood, Wyoming, and Grand Rapids Charter Township, Sen. Brinks has focused her work on issues that directly affect families, neighborhoods, and community well-being. She is the first woman to serve as Michigan Senate Majority Leader and the first woman to represent Grand Rapids in the Michigan Senate since 1920. Her participation reflects her continued commitment to listening, engaging, and working alongside organizations like GRAAHI to support healthier, more informed, and more connected communities.

Come learn, ask questions, and kick off your Juneteenth with a morning of civic action!
