After thousands of 1-on-1 sessions, we have noticed that the baggage and abuse from others, often lives in our arm pits.

Typically… the left side of the body holds the emotions associated with our family, while the right side of the body holds emotions to non-family members.

I often tell this left-side/right-side dynamic to teachers and their eyes light up, where they typically respond with “that’s true! I hug my real kids with my left arm, but my students with the right arm!”

… we don’t realize it, but we favor different sides of our body depending on who we interact with.

Don’t believe me about this left side versus right side dynamic?

The next time you’re on the phone with your family, do you lift the phone to your left ear or right ear? You may find yourself noticing you talk to your parents with the left ear, and your coworkers with your right ear.

You don’t need to push the body to 10/10 on the pain scale for a release. I’ve been seeing a lot of Jaw releases on Instagram lately where they push you to 10/10 on the pain scale.
