Captain Cardio and the Heart Ranch launches June 16, and I need your help getting it into the right hands.

This isn't really about a book hitting a list. Bestseller status is how Amazon decides what to put in front of parents, teachers, librarians, and homeschool families browsing for kids' books. The higher the rank, the more visibility. The more visibility, the more kids who get a story that teaches them how to take care of their hearts and their bodies before they're old enough to worry about it.

To get there, the book needs 100 Amazon reviews and 1,000 copies sold in launch week. Here's how you can help make that happen:

1. Preorder the ebook for 99¢ today (link in bio)
2. Read it when it lands on your Kindle June 2nd
3. Leave an honest review on Amazon before June 16
4. Grab a paperback on June 16 and gift one to a child who'd love it

Four small steps. A real shot at changing how a generation of kids learn to care for their hearts.

Thank you for showing up for this with me.

Not every symptom should be ignored or waited out, seek immediate medical attention if you experience these symptoms. Your body often whispers before it screams, listening early can save your life.

1. Prioritize sleep and rest, a consistent sleep routine, limiting screen time before bed can significantly affect mood, focus, and emotional regulation.

2. Move your body, light movement like walking, stretching, or dancing can help reduce stress and anxiety.

3. Build healthy connections nurture relationships with people who make you feel seen and supported, even brief, genuine interactions like spending time with supportive friends, family, or community groups can reduce feelings of isolation.

4. Limit constant exposure to stressful content taking breaks from social media and news cycles can help reduce overwhelm.

6. Do things that bring you joy. Hobbies, creativity, and play aren’t luxuries they’re necessities, carving out time for what genuinely makes you happy replenishes your emotional reserves.

7. Ask for help early, speaking with a mental health professional, physician, counselor, or trusted person before things escalate can make a major difference.

8. Nourish the body. Hydration, balanced meals, and reducing harmful coping habits like substance misuse all contribute to mental wellbeing.

9. Celebrate small wins. Progress does not always look dramatic. Small routines and daily efforts matter.

10 Signs Your Body Is Actually Healthy

1. Your p*e is pale yellow
Your hydration is on point. A good sign your kidneys are likely doing their job too.

2. You pass gas regularly
Farting is healthy. It means your digestive system is working and your gut bacteria are active. No gas at all would actually be more concerning.

3. You have a strong gag reflex
It’s your body’s way of protecting you from choking or swallowing harmful things.

4. Your wounds heal fairly quickly
Cuts and bruises fading in a normal timeframe means your immune system and circulation are functioning well.

5. You feel hungry every few hours
That’s your metabolism doing its thing. Regular hunger signals mean your body is using energy properly and your hunger hormones are working as they should.

6. You sweat during workouts (or in the heat)
Sweating efficiently shows your body can regulate temperature, which is key for survival and performance.

7. You feel a little stiff in the morning
Mild morning stiffness that loosens up within 30 minutes is normal. It just means your joints and connective tissue were in rest and repair mode overnight. Stiffness that lasts longer than that is worth mentioning to your doctor.

8. You can crack your knuckles
It’s harmless. The pop is just gas bubbles releasing in your joint fluid, not a sign of damage. And if you can’t crack them, that’s fine too.

9. Your eye twitches randomly
This is usually a sign that your nervous system is mildly overstimulated, often from caffeine, stress, or too much screen time. It means your nerves are sensitive and responsive.

10. You get goosebumps easily
Goosebumps are a normal sympathetic nervous system response to cold, fear, or strong emotion. It’s your body reacting and adapting to what’s around you, which is exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Want to understand what your body has been quietly telling you? Save this post so you can come back to it. ⚠️And remember, these are reassuring signs, but always check with your doctor if something feels off.

The silent killer isn’t always silent.

Here are the signs your blood pressure is too high that most people miss.
Save this and share it with someone you love.

After 40, your body stops whispering and starts shouting. So here’s what I tell every single patient, get your labs done every year without negotiating with yourself about it.
No excuses. No ‘I feel fine.’ Because the patients I worry about most are the ones who feel fine.

When did you last get bloodwork done? Drop it in the comments.

Your P*P (Primary Care Physician) isn’t there to judge you, they’re there to connect the dots, catch things early, and keep you healthy, but that only works if you’re honest. Lying or holding back doesn’t protect you, it delays the help you actually need.

Be real about your symptoms.
Be honest about your habits.
Be open about what you’re struggling with.

Because your doctor can only treat what you tell them not what you hide.
