Diabetic Neuropathy 👉 What it is ➕ Why it hurts ⚡️
Burning, tingling, numbness, or nerve pain in the feet or hands? Diabetes may be part of the reason.

Worth saving if this keeps coming up.

The tendon that powers every push-off.

Your Achilles tendon connects the calf muscles to the heel bone, helping you walk, run, climb stairs, jump, and push off the ground.

Because it handles a lot of force, irritation can build when the tendon is overloaded faster than it can adapt.

Precision is a major part of interventional pain care.

Image-guided injections can help physicians target specific areas that may be contributing to pain…often with the goal of reducing inflammation, improving function, and helping guide the next step in a treatment plan.

For many patients, the value is not just relief. It is getting more clarity on where the pain may be coming from.

Facet joint pain is often tied to wear-and-tear changes in the spine.

The facet joints are small joints in the back of the spine that help guide movement and provide stability.

When degeneration develops, these joints can become irritated and may contribute to neck or low back pain, stiffness, or pain that feels worse with certain movements.

It’s one reason “back pain” is not always coming from the disc.

Share this with someone who’s been told they have spondylosis or facet joint arthritis.

Shoulder injections are commonly used for pain, but does the dose actually change outcomes?

This study looked at subacromial injections for shoulder conditions like bursitis and rotator cuff irritation.

Here’s what stood out:

• Pain improved across all groups
• Higher-dose steroid (40 mg) led to greater pain relief
• Functional improvement was also stronger with the higher dose
• Adding hyaluronidase didn’t meaningfully enhance results

Not all injections perform the same and small differences like dosage can impact results.

If shoulder pain has been limiting your movement, this is why treatment planning isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Have you ever had a shoulder injection?

Squats and deadlifts are common strength movements, but pain can develop when form breaks down, fatigue sets in, mobility is limited, or load is increased too quickly.

Possible squat or deadlift-related injuries include:
✔️ Low back muscle strain
✔️ Disc irritation or herniation
✔️ SI joint irritation
✔️ Hip or groin strain
✔️ Knee pain from poor alignment or overload

Pain may start during the lift, later that day, or even the next morning. If symptoms linger, worsen, or travel down the leg, it may be time for a medical evaluation.

💉 Interventional pain management can help identify the source of lingering pain and offer targeted, non-surgical treatment options when conservative care isn’t enough.

Have you ever tweaked your back during a squat or deadlift?

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. It’s made from a patient’s own blood, processed to concentrate the platelets, then injected into a targeted area to support the body’s natural healing response.

In interventional pain medicine, PRP may be used for select spine, joint, tendon, and ligament-related pain conditions. Some research shows improvement in pain and function for certain patients, but results vary based on the diagnosis, severity of the condition, and where the PRP is placed.

A proper evaluation helps determine whether PRP is appropriate for the specific source of pain.

Save this if you’re comparing pain treatment options.
