Women don’t necessarily “take a long time” to or**sm.

Research has found that women tend to reach or**sm faster during ma********on than during partnered s*x.

That difference matters. Because if the same body can reach or**sm more quickly in one context than another, maybe the question isn’t why women take so long.

Maybe it’s what’s happening during partnered s*x.

✨ If or**sm feels easier alone than with a partner, it can be worth understanding what’s getting in the way. I work with individuals and couples in private sessions. 👉 Link in bio.

📣 New article on Substack:

“Why Didn’t We Have S*x?”

When couples don’t have s*x, what gets in the way?

One study looked at exactly that, day after day, for 30 days.

And the results raise an even bigger question: what can they teach us about our own s*x lives?

A little exciting news! 😊

I was recently featured in Cosmopolitan to talk about bad s*x, s*xual compatibility, and what happens when the chemistry is there... but the s*x doesn’t quite live up to it.

We talked about why one disappointing s*xual experience doesn’t necessarily mean two people are s*xually incompatible, how compatibility can develop over time, and what you can actually do when the s*x isn’t quite working.

Thank you to Cosmopolitan and Catherine DiPersico for including my perspective in the piece!

Saying what feels good, what doesn’t, what you want more of, or what you’d rather stop isn’t selfish. It’s part of creating s*x that feels good for everyone involved.

✨ If communicating about s*x feels difficult, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with individuals and couples in private sessions. Link in bio.

An er****on is a physical response. Arousal is what someone is actually feeling.

Sometimes the two happen together. Sometimes they don’t.

Morning er****ons are a perfect example: the body can respond without s*xual desire or arousal being behind it.

Our bodies can give us information, but they don’t always tell us the whole story.

✨ I help individuals and couples understand what’s shaping their s*x lives and what they can do about it. Link in bio.

Wanting something doesn’t mean your body will follow.

Your body responds to context, not expectations. Stress, fatigue, feeling safe, comfortable, connected… all of these can shape how your body responds.

Curious about what the right context looks like for you?

We often compare our s*x life to what we think everyone else is doing.

Friends’ stories. Movies. Social media. Surveys. Headlines.

It’s easy to start wondering whether you’re having « enough » s*x.

But there is no number that defines a healthy s*x life.

Every relationship is different. And how often people have s*x naturally changes throughout life. Stress, health, children, work, hormones, life circumstances, and many other factors all play a role.

So, instead of comparing your relationship to someone else’s, ask yourselves:

Are we both happy with our s*x life?

That’s the question that actually matters.

✨ If you’re not both happy with your s*x life, there are often solutions you may not have considered. I’d be happy to help you explore them. You can book a private session through the link in my bio.

One of the simplest ways to improve your s*x life?

Slow down.

When you stop rushing, you give your body time to experience more. More sensation. More anticipation. More pleasure.

Sometimes, that’s all it takes to completely change the experience.

✨ Curious about slow s*x? I just wrote an article about what it is and why it can completely change the way you experience intimacy. Read it on my Substack. Link in bio.
