Longevity agents may do more than support healthy aging — they may also support your sense of smell.
Emerging research links several well-known longevity interventions (including NAD, taurine, caloric restriction, exercise, hormone replacement therapy, and others) with improvements in olfactory function.
Why does this matter? Because olfaction is not just about smell. It is closely tied to memory, cognition, emotion, and overall brain health.
One possible explanation is that many of these agents support cellular health, repair, and growth — mechanisms that may also benefit the olfactory system.
At , we’re continuing our own novel research while also looking closely at the broader body of existing science. Our goal is to better understand the unique role the olfactory system plays across the mind and body.
