It’s been feeling a little too much like a sauna lately. 🥵☀️

If the heat + humidity are getting to you, a few simple things can help your body cool down:

💧 Drink water before you’re thirsty
🚿 Take a cool shower or use a cool, damp cloth
❄️ Spend some time somewhere with A/C
👕 Stick with lightweight, loose-fitting clothing
🌅 Save outdoor plans for earlier or later in the day when possible

And yes, taking it easy absolutely counts as a summer activity right now. 😅

Feeling more than just hot?
Dizziness, nausea, weakness, headache or heavy sweating can be signs your body isn’t handling the heat well. Confusion or fainting can signal a medical emergency.

The crash is over. Now what? 🚲 After an e-bike accident, knowing where to get care matters.

Urgent care may be appropriate for:

• Road rash, scrapes or cuts that may need stitches
• Sprains, strains or a suspected minor fracture
• Pain, bruising or swelling without severe symptoms

Go to the emergency department for:

• Loss of consciousness, confusion or difficulty staying awake
• A worsening headache, repeated vomiting or seizure
• Severe head, neck, back, chest or abdominal pain
• Weakness, numbness or trouble walking
• Difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding or an obviously deformed limb

Some injuries may not be immediately obvious, so pay attention to new or worsening symptoms after a crash. If the situation is life-threatening, call 911.
