As I prepare to close RicRoks Tattoos at the end of this year, I’ll be finding new homes for a few special pieces that have been part of this space for many years.
This is one of them.
🪴 Leopard Lily has been with me for over 10 years and stands about 8 feet tall from the floor, I got it at 1 ft tall. It has quietly witnessed thousands of conversations, tattoos, laughter, healing, and memories inside the shop.
Growing alongside it is Golden Pothos, which I propagated about a year ago. It has rooted into the same pot and naturally intertwined with a beautiful fishbone cactus that’s been growing here for around 8 years and now stretches roughly 12 feet.
These three plants have become one living arrangement, and I’d love for them to stay together. Because of that, they will only be sold as a complete package.

Bringing old work and new energy together 🌿

We’ve been slowly filling the open spaces between older tattoos with soft fine line florals, letting everything connect naturally without taking away from the original pieces. Thick bold work mixed with delicate details… old and new flowing together on one body.

I love projects like this. Building harmony instead of covering history. One session at a time ✨

For the last 3 1/2 years, every Wednesday at 7PM, I’ve opened the studio doors for anybody wanting to slow down, disconnect from the noise, and reconnect with themselves through meditation, silence, vibration, and sound.

What started with a few people has continued to grow into something powerful. Different energies, different stories, all coming together for one thing… balance.

Before this chapter closes, I want everybody to experience a Wednesday night sound bath at least once.

Bring a mat.
Bring water.
Bring yourself exactly as you are.

A lot of people ask me what my transition into Casa Zen looks like, and honestly… this has been a big part of it. Creating space for healing, stillness, connection, and experiences that go beyond tattooing.

As I continue stepping into this next journey at Casa Zen and everything else that comes with it, I just want to thank everybody who’s been part of this growth over the years.

2026… this is my last year in this space.

After 19 years, I’ll be closing these doors on December 31st, 2026.

And I wanna be clear about something… I’m not getting kicked out, I’m not getting priced out. This is a decision. A hard one. Something I’ve been sitting with and thinking about for the last three years leading up to this moment.

Man… sitting with that feels heavy and beautiful at the same time.

I’ve spent almost two decades in this one chair. Watching Highland Park grow, watching it change, watching people come and go, watching kids turn into adults and come back years later for their own pieces. Conversations on the sidewalk, inside these walls, quick hellos that turned into real relationships. Some of you came in as strangers and became family.

To every single person that trusted me with their skin, your stories, your time… thank you. You didn’t just get tattooed here—you created this place with me.

To all the artists that passed through—long term or just for a moment—you all left your mark here too. This shop holds all of that energy, all those memories, all those chapters.

I’m not retiring. I’m not done tattooing. I’m just closing this space.

This isn’t me ending a chapter… this is me closing a whole book.

And I’ve already been writing the next one for the last four years, in a different place, a different pace, a different kind of experience. Some of you already know… some of you have felt it. If you’re curious, start tapping in—

Between now and the end of the year, we’re not slowing down. There’s gonna be more sessions, more events, more moments, more stories. We’re gonna celebrate this place the way it deserves.
