2026ā¦ this is my last year in this space.
After 19 years, Iāll be closing these doors on December 31st, 2026.
And I wanna be clear about somethingā¦ Iām not getting kicked out, Iām not getting priced out. This is a decision. A hard one. Something Iāve been sitting with and thinking about for the last three years leading up to this moment.
Manā¦ sitting with that feels heavy and beautiful at the same time.
Iāve spent almost two decades in this one chair. Watching Highland Park grow, watching it change, watching people come and go, watching kids turn into adults and come back years later for their own pieces. Conversations on the sidewalk, inside these walls, quick hellos that turned into real relationships. Some of you came in as strangers and became family.
To every single person that trusted me with their skin, your stories, your timeā¦ thank you. You didnāt just get tattooed hereāyou created this place with me.
To all the artists that passed throughālong term or just for a momentāyou all left your mark here too. This shop holds all of that energy, all those memories, all those chapters.
Iām not retiring. Iām not done tattooing. Iām just closing this space.
This isnāt me ending a chapterā¦ this is me closing a whole book.
