We stand with the TPS community.

Today, our CEO, Carlos Vaquerano, joined Carecen Los Angeles, elected officials, and community leaders to advocate for Salvadoran families across the U.S. who are being impacted by the uncertainty surrounding Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for El Salvador.

TPS holders and their families deserve certainty, dignity, and the ability to continue building their lives in the communities they call home.

At Clínica Romero, our commitment to our community is strong. Our doors will always remain open, and we will continue providing healthcare to all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. 💙

La Iniciativa 44 es una maniobra electorera dania que amenaza a los centros de salud comunitarios como Clínica Romero, y con ello, amenaza la salud y las vidas de nuestros pacientes.

Si se aprueba el 3 de noviembre:
🔴Se recortarán $1.7 billones a las clínicas en el primer año, forzando el cierre de clínicas, la reducción de servicios y la pérdida de empleos.
🔴Los pacientes perderán acceso a servicios de salud vitales, arriesgando sus vidas.
🔴Las salas de emergencia de los hospitales se saturaran y perderan miles de millones de dólares en costos más altos para todos

Por 43 años, Clínica Romero ha defendido los derechos de la comunidad, creemos firmemente que "La Atención Médica es un Derecho Humano". Por favor unanse a nosotros en la lucha para proteger dicho derecho y a las clínicas comunitarias.

Prop 44 is a dangerous ballot initiative that threatens community health centers like Clínica Romero, and in turn, threatens the care and lives of our patients.

If it passes on November 3rd:
🔴 $1.7B cut from clinics in year one – forcing clinic closures, service cuts, and job losses
🔴 Patients lose access to essential care
🔴 More ER overcrowding & billions in higher costs for everyone

Yesterday, Clínica Romero and community partners joined the office of Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez and the office of Mayor Karen Bass to distribute 100 boxes of food to community members in need, as part of National Health Center Week.

For over 40 years, Clínica Romero has shown up for our neighbors–not just in the exam room, but wherever the need is. Because health isn't just about treatment; it's about making sure every family has what they need to thrive.

Whether it's a neighborhood, school, community event, shelter, or anywhere care is needed, our team is ready to meet people where they are.
