Toys can be powerful tools for building language!

As an SLP, here are a few ways I’d use magnetic tiles during play:
✨ Requesting: Model words like more, blue, triangle, or please by creating opportunities for your child to communicate.
✨ Vocabulary: Talk about colors, shapes, sizes, and locations as you build and play.
✨ Combining words: Once your child is using single words, model simple phrases like “red triangle” or “more tiles.”

The goal? Follow your child’s lead, model language, and keep communication fun and natural.
