Today’s quote comes from the book “The Secrets of Mediation and Inner Peace” by Swami Kriyananda. "The secret of meditation is relinquishing outward attachments, and affirming divine freedom within." Holding on to attachments tightens our grip on worldly things, feelings, and thoughts. But nothing on Earth can truly hold us. You can only truly rise to freedom when you’re not weighed down by attachments.
