I’ll be real with you… I used to suffer when I was luteal-ing. Wondering why the sore b***s, extreme fatigue and shooting cramps had to exist in this lifetime. I just assumed it was the price of being a girl in the world… (cue Gwen Stefani). Iykyk šŸŽµ

But now I know none of that is normal. And while you might question your purpose at times (me yesterday šŸ˜‚) and feel more tired with fuller b***s and heightened sensitivity to caffeine, alcohol and your husband standing in the kitchen slurping his soup…

You can buy top-of-the-line supplements, eat 100% organic and ground in nature daily but if you don’t have true connection and community, you’ll wonder why you still feel like sh*t.

We spend SO much of our time behind closed doors. Typing away on our laptops, having conversations with ā€œchat,ā€ scrolling IG and getting whisked away into alternate realities. And then we look up and realize it’s been a month since we’ve gotten together with a friend IRL, hugged our parents or made the effort to hop in the car or get on a plane to visit them.

P.S. I overheard a lady in my Pilates class say she didn’t want to drive to see her mother-in-law because it would cost a tank of gas. I mean... 😱

If you’ve ever read about the blue zones (places in the world where people live the longest), one common thread is community. People live longer because they spend time with friends and family daily. They walk together, prepare and eat meals together, take care of each other.

I spent last week with my mom and sister and I honestly couldn’t imagine any of us getting through hard times without each other. Being in the presence of people you love releases oxytocin (the bonding hormone) and serotonin (the feel-good hormone), which can drastically improve mood and mental health.

When you laugh, hug, dance, breathe and just be together, you start to co-regulate. Your nervous systems literally come together to reduce cortisol, slow your heart rate and settle you into your body instead of being caught up in your mind.

Whether you want to feel healthier, balance your hormones, release weight, heal from chronic symptoms, reduce anxiety or mend a broken heart, you NEED to find your people and invest in the ones you already have.

Ask yourself: How can I nurture these connections more intentionally? How can I invest in them the way I invest in my supplements, organic food and gym membership?

Let’s be real. We’ve probably all been tempted to swipe up on a free guide by some 22-year-old wellness influencer who has the body, the lifestyle, or the ā€œperfect periodā€ we crave... not to mention the massive following.

When I started my journey to breaking free from yo-yo dieting and unf*cking my period, Instagram wasn’t what it is today. There was no swipe-up feature, no million free guides.

I ordered books (gasp) like Alisa Vitti’s ā€œIn the Floā€ and Dr. Jolene Brighten’s ā€œBeyond the Pillā€ and read them cover to cover with no ChatGPT cliff notes to help me.

I spent hours every week immersed in learning, and when my hormones felt royally f*cked (debilitating migraines, no period, and fatigue that completely crushed me), I turned to my mom, a well-respected hormone health educator, to guide and teach me.

When I started getting results (weight release without 1,200 calorie diets, a natural period off birth control, way fewer headaches, and real energy), I knew I had to help other women do the same.

So I got board certified as a holistic health coach through and later returned as an alumni to take their hormone health extension course.

I spent years growing my business, learning about my body, and understanding why what works for one woman doesn’t work for another.

I was fascinated. Obsessed. Even addicted. And honestly, I still am.

I don’t mean to bash the wickedly smart 22-year-old influencers out there, but I do mean to say that when you want to create a life that feels as good as it looks, you need the right support.

I am honestly not a great cook and I don’t like spending hours in the kitchen yet people love the meals I make...

The secret is that I stopped trying to be a chef and started working with my cravings, my health goals and my lifestyle.

And I make simple tweaks based on where I am in my cycle to support better energy, an easier period, and a little more variety throughout the month.

Here is what actually works for me:

1ļøāƒ£ I reverse engineer meals I already love. Most of my favorite dishes are just inspired by what I order at places like Luna Grill, Sweetgreen, and Baja Fresh.

Simple ingredients thrown together into something flavorful without complicated techniques or recipes (my vibes).

2ļøāƒ£ I let sauces and seasoning do the heavy lifting. I genuinely do not understand how people cook without them. I read labels like a spy at the grocery store and stick to brands I trust for both ingredients and flavor, like Siete Foods, Chosen Foods, and Primal Kitchen.

I also make a few simple ones myself like the fry sauce in recipe one, which I make about four times a week because it goes on everything and sneaks in more protein too!

3ļøāƒ£ I have a 30 minute rule and if it takes longer than that I am out. My air fryer is my best friend because it cuts cook time nearly in half, and I always keep organic frozen veggies on hand because they cook fast and never go bad.

4ļøāƒ£ I create a vibe that tricks my brain into thinking I enjoy this. French Cafe playlist, Sinatra, candles lit, and while things are heating I chase my dogs around which they love 🄹

If you want to FEEL as good as life looks, you’re gonna need to prioritize your nutriton and cooking more at home but I am proof that it can be easy and dare I say.. enjoyable šŸ«¶šŸ¼

Caffeine used to be my crutch. ā˜•ļø

I’d swing by a gas station on the way to work to grab a flavored coffee, then walk straight to the break room and fill a giant mug… all before eating a bite of food.

I felt jittery but the jolt felt necessary because without it I was exhausted, struggling to get through the day and crashing hard by 3pm.

And I honestly normalized it because everyone around me seemed to operate the same way.

I didn’t think there was another option until I realized my reliance on caffeine was the very thing keeping me pushing through burnout without ever stopping to ask: How am I actually feeling? What do I actually need?

I was so dependent on coffee that I’d get excited for my morning cup the night before.

It wasn’t an energy strategy, it was a bandaid for deeper imbalances and a nervous system that was running on empty.

Once I got to the root of what was actually going on in my body, I was genuinely astounded by how much natural energy I had. Coffee went from a necessity to a choice.

I’m not anti-caffeine or coffee and for many women it works beautifully. But there’s a way to enjoy it that actually works with your body and your cycle, so you feel 10x better instead of just using it to ā€œget through.ā€

These are the kinds of results that don’t come from a cookie cutter protocol or an e-book.

After working with hundreds of women I’ve learned that results are a byproduct of a customized strategy built around your unique body and hormones, a genuine belief that change is possible for you, and consistent action steps that actually fit your life.

This particular client worked with both myself and my family business . She tested her hormone levels through salivary testing, which gives us a level of accuracy that standard blood tests covered by insurance simply don’t.

From those results we built her a plan with targeted nutrition support, supplementation, bio-identical progesterone (based on what her body actually showed us rather than guesswork), and adrenal support designed to work within the reality of a vibrant career with a lot of time spent traveling.
