Oxygen is the first and foremost essential element required by the human body.

From the moment we are born, we are supposed to be taking in oxygen all day, all night—from the beginning of life to end of life.

Now consider how much less oxygen there is in the air than there was in the past. Before we cut down the trees, paved the roads, and built all the buildings—the air supply was far more rich in oxygen.
