I saw this at the Atwater Village farmers market last year and was SO happy. I dried the leaves and made a moringa oil for hair and scalp health. I saw it last weekend and have been adding fresh leaves to all my meals...even these cute breakfast burritos!

Moringa oil has essential fatty acids that moisturize the scalp and strengthen hair follicles to minimize breakage.

My final class of In Her Season is this Sunday — and we’re ending on the luteal phase.

There’s a biological reason we feel the way we do during this part of our cycle. Hormones shift dramatically, the nervous system slows down, and our tolerance for what doesn’t fly is very apparent and sometimes loud. That’s not crazy.

We’ll get into what’s actually happening hormonally, how to support it with food, and you’ll make an adaptogenic tonic designed to ease the transition off coffee during this phase. We’ll also spend time with your cyclical map — a tool you take home and keep working with.
