Apparently our dream girl, Jen A, loves these super affordable flip flops. So naturally we bought them in what can only be described as a frenzy. And to our immense delight, they are INSANELY comfortable to boot. Like, wear-all-day-don’t-think-about-your-feet comfortable. Vacation walking comfortable. And we got such a pretty color!

We asked ourselves: do we look ridiculous in our mid-40s, wearing jean shorts? And we decided, we don’t know. Perhaps you’ll tell us. But either way, we tried on 6 different styles, and there are 2 clear winners.

But you really need to see the butt pockets of all of them. Yes, we did side AND butt photos for all 6. Because if we’ve learned anything, it’s that the shape/placement of butt pockets absolutely make or break.

Oh hi. Audie / Metcalf here. As you know (because I drone on about it incessantly) I’m 49 and too scared to have any Botox or fillers—but I’m also deeply vain and want to look as gorgeous as possible at all times. So I realized I was using wayyyyy too many products on my face, and it was making me look haggard and bad.

So I reduced my entire makeup/skincare routine to only 7 products. They’re all perfect for mature skin.

If you want the blinding, ethereal glow of early 2000s makeup, there is only one product you need. Zero glitter, gorgeous on pores, impossible to mess up, perfect for us 40ish gals. It’s a little bit divisive because it feels slightly tacky on the skin, but we are ride-or-die fans forever.
