Soupelina

Soupelina Holistic healing for cancer and chronic illness with Elina Fuhrman. Start Healing ➤ http://www.soupelina.com And just like that, Soupelina was born.

Root cause healing through nutrition, gut repair, nervous system regulation, and psychospiritual transformation. In 2009 I began cooking my healthy soups in my own kitchen while fighting an aggressive breast cancer. What began as a healing experiment for myself turned into gourmet magic that had my friends not only calling me “the soup guru” but asking to buy my one-of-a-kind creations. Soupelina aspires to give you the power of starting a healthy lifestyle to transform your life and the lives of your family and friends. Soupelina is redefining tradition with its impeccable attention to detail and commitment to locally sourced ingredients. Every herb, root, and leaf is organic and most everything is purchased daily at local farmers markets. With names like “Lentil Me Entertain You!”, “Sweet Coconut Thai Oh My!” and “Kale-ifornia Dreamin’,” we cook to delight our followers. We love to see people eat well; that’s what makes us happy! For generations people enjoyed soup to nourish and heal, and they have also searched for the perfect soup to cure what ails them. I created Soupelina to make our world a healthier place. That’s my dream starting one cup of soup at a time, and together we can all become healthier, happier and stronger. Are you ready to join me on my mission?

I’m often asked what diets are best for healing. You know, I’ve tried them all.

After almost two decades of testing nutritional protocols, trendy diets and food combinations, I’ve often asked myself - when it comes to healing, what foods give my body what it needs instead of having her spend all the energy digesting? And the answer has always been soup!

Because with soup, your body is not constantly working to break down the food and uses its resources to heal. Especially when the soup is properly prepared, with nutrient-dense vegetables, roots, herbs, and spices.

Healing begins with making nourishment easier to receive.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our health, but do you ever step back and look at the whole picture?

We change our diets. We start exercising. We lift weights. We buy better supplements. We switch products. We try to create healthier routines.

But who actually looks at everything surrounding you and asks, “What here could be affecting my health?”

What is happening inside your home? What are you exposed to every day? What patterns have become so normal that you no longer even notice them?

I loved the opportunity to speak with Dr. Michael Karlfeldt, a leading physician and integrative cancer specialist, on his podcast about how health is influenced by far more than the things we consciously think we’re doing right. There are hidden patterns, environmental exposures, routines, products, and details in our everyday lives that can easily go unnoticed.

When you’re on my signature Healing Journey program, the Breakthrough Day is when I come into your home and take a comprehensive look at the many layers of your life that can affect your health, including the ones you may never have thought to examine.

Comment BREAKTHROUGH if you are ready to make a breakthrough on your healing journey.

It sounds silly until you feel it.

Thank you for sharing this simple and powerful little song with the world. We love it so much!

There’s a freedom in letting go of what you can’t control.

Forgiving, releasing grudges, chasing things you think would make you happy, and surrendering the endless need to know what comes next.

I believe the greatest gift you can give the world is the best version of yourself. When you come face to face with your own mortality, the things that once felt urgent begin to fall away.

What remains is what has always mattered. Love, connection, presence and truth.

Cancer taught me that healing is not just about the body. It’s about coming home to yourself. It’s about listening to the whispers you ignored for years. It’s about having the courage to live in alignment with who you really are.

Which is why today I help women navigate their own healing journeys, not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and holistically. Comment HEALING you’re looking for support, guidance, or a different way of approaching your healing.

Cancer didn’t just heal me, it completely redirected my life.

Cancer forced me to pay attention to what I was ignoring for years. I didn’t hear the whispers, so cancer stopped me in my tracks and asked the questions I was avoiding. What truly matters? Are you living your truth? What needs to change?

Cancer awakened me to my own life.

“F**k Cancer” is a popular slogan when someone is diagnosed. We are taught to view cancer as an enemy, a battle we need to fight, a war to win.

I see it differently.

Starting a fight when cancer appears on your doorstep maybe the very thing keeping you from hearing its message.

Instead, ask cancer what’s it here for? What’s it trying to show me? What’s my body asking me to pay attention to?

What if your body is not working against you but f o r you?

I don’t see cancer as the enemy.
I see it as the teacher.

The body knows how to not have cancer. That capacity exists in everyone.

The question is what’s suppressing it, and what can restore it. Those answers are available. But they require commitment, desire to heal and full engagement.

Cancer can be reversed at any stage. I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it. But it requires a delicate dance between you and your body, between science and nature, between doing and surrendering.

Healing is a complete arc that includes understanding, transformation, and restoration of the conditions for health.

I start every day with an intention that a soul who is ready to heal finds me.

When your oncologist says you are “cancer free,” it means there’s no detectable cancer in your body. But this is not the same as no cancer.

Imaging and bloodwork have detection thresholds. A tumor must reach a certain size before it shows up on a scan. Circulating tumor cells, micrometastases, and dormant cancer stem cells can still be in the body well below those thresholds for years, sometimes even decades. And then reactivate when conditions become favorable.

But the deeper issue is the internal environment, known as the terrain.

The terrain that allowed cancer to develop in the first place is often never addressed. Chronic inflammation, immune dysregulation, dysbiosis, toxin burden, mitochondrial dysfunction, unresolved stress, poor nutritional nourishment. These factors don’t automatically disappear when treatment ends.

The body has even more healing work to do after treatment, since chemotherapy and radiation stress healthy tissues and the immune system.

Then there’s epigenetics. The patterns of gene expression associated with the disease do not change simply because a tumor has been removed or treated. Nutrition, lifestyle, environment, stress reduction, sleep, and other targeted interventions can influence those patterns. You have to reset them with specific and deliberate epigenetic intervention or the same signals continue running in the background.

This is why I stress that healing must go beyond the tumor itself. If the terrain doesn’t change, the conditions that allowed cancer to take root are still present.

The fire may have been put out. But have you investigated why the house caught fire in the first place? When your treatment ended, were you given a plan for rebuilding your terrain, or were you simply told to come back for scans and bloodwork?

Your gut doesn’t need another supplement, it needs real food.

Instead of spending money on probiotics packed with fillers, additives, and mystery ingredients, make your own fermented veggies. They’re alive, vibrant, deeply nourishing, and ridiculously easy to make.

I skip traditional pickling methods because I don’t use vinegar or sugar. Just salt, water, and a few simple ingredients transform your favorite veggies into crunchy, probiotic-rich goodness your microbiome will love.

Here’s how to make them.

👇🏻👇🏻…

I was feeling like doing something rebellious today. And by rebellious I mean, challenging you to do nothing. It feels like this is something we are all starving for, as we optimize ourselves into exhaustion while calling it wellness. Or even better, manifesting the life we desire.

Everywhere I look, everyone is tracking, hacking, documenting, improving. Is there anyone out there simply existing? Why does everything need to be productive and scheduled? Why is it all about monetizing and measuring?

So, here’s my challenge. One hour a day of doing absolutely nothing. Phone on airplane mode. No scrolling. No journaling. No meditating. No listening to music. No podcasts. No reading. No self improvement. No bath or sauna rituals. Just being with yourself.

For me, doing nothing is sometimes staring at the ceiling, sometimes it’s melting into the couch, and sometimes, it’s just sitting with no agenda and nowhere to go. I’ve been doing this for years and it changed my life. The other day I rolled out my yoga mat on the sand and sat on the beach for over an hour doing absolutely nothing.

Try it for a week and comment what comes up when there’s nothing left to distract you. That’s where the magic is. I promise. Can you start today?
