“Outside of Pure Sweat + Float Studio, I’m a dancer, choreographer, creature actor, and stunt fighter, so recovery is part of my daily routine.
My favorite service is contrast therapy because of the benefits I’ve experienced, from increased blood flow and oxygen delivery to faster muscle repair, less fatigue, more stamina, mobility, and mental clarity.
I’ve also started increasing my time in both the infrared sauna, which is at 165 to 170 degrees, and the cold plunge, which sits between 49 to 50 degrees, to strengthen my mind and body and help myself endure more than I previously thought possible.
I like to end my week with a 60 minute float session to give my body the magnesium it craves, support sleep, help relieve tension in my joints and tendons, and fully reset for the week.”
