This session was amazing. I brought on esthetician with me for this housecall.

We opened with a sound bath to bring our clients body into relaxation, presence, and awareness and then moved into a nice flow that focused on contouring and lifting the face.

Both topical and physiological.

The skin barrier is designed to repair itself, but that process depends on the internal state of the body. When the nervous system is under chronic stress, the skin shifts out of regeneration and into protection, slowing the repair processes that keep the barrier strong and intact.

This will increase inflammation and disrupt the production of lipids that are essential for barrier function. At the same time, reduced circulation limits the delivery of oxygen and nutrients needed for repair.

So, supporting the barrier is not only about what you apply to the skin, but also about creating the internal conditions that allow it to repair. When the nervous system is regulated, the skin is better able to restore balance, strengthen its barrier, and respond to treatment!

Honoring the work of the and the lives they impact was deeply moving. Nights like this remind me how powerful it is when community, purpose, and heart come together in the same room.

So much love, so much intention, and such a great reminder of what it means to give back and uplift others.

GLOWING SKIN

Letโ€™s talk about the physiology behind it, and how itโ€™s achieved.

Naturally glowing skin is reflective of optimal blood circulation, cellular turnover, and a skin barrier that is functioning in balance.

All of these processes can easily be influenced by the state of the nervous system. When the body is regulated, circulation improves, inflammation decreases, and the skin is able to function at a higher level.

This is why we should engage our nervous system prior to our beauty routine โœจ
