In 2016, Pat Ycaro founded NorCal Strength Studio, which is now Los Gatos Strength. Fitness has always been a priority in his life, but his true passion lies in HIT (High Intensity Training) and helping people of all ages, achieve their own strength and fitness goals, without spending too much time at a gym. He’s been doing just that, for over 15 years. Prior to opening his own personal training business, he had a few full time union delivery jobs. He and his wife Susanna, were raising 2 boys (Patrick and Jacob), bought a home, and focused on the family (work/life balance). Something unexpected hit and Pat was layed off after being employed for 15 years, which was a blessing in disguise. Patrick decided to invest in his own food distribution business, and bought his own delivery truck. He did this because it was familiar, and it supported his family all these years. While doing this, he continued personal strength training (part time) for small independently owned gyms around the bay area. This is what he really enjoyed doing, because it was rewarding, and didn’t seem like work. He was always complimented by clients, and the owners of these gyms would be very pleased.
Pat has a friend with Parkinson’s Disease. He offered to train him once a week and he witnessed significant improvements in strength, endurance, energy level, and motor skills. He’s always cited the considerable health benefits to be gained through this 20-minute system. This good friend was amazed at the difference in his quality of life. This is when Pat finally decided he wants to dedicate his life to: helping people gain the strength they’ll need, so they can be active for the rest of their life.
