Loudonville Farmers Market is back and we are kicking off the season in a BIG way!

We had a wonderful mushroom cooking class last weekend with !

Students worked with 5 different gourmet mushrooms, and tasted so many they had never tried before! They learned how to clean, prepare and cook with them. They also took away knowledge on their health benefits - they're full of protein, vitamins and minerals - such a great way to enhance dishes with nutrition and flavor! Let food be thy medicine ✨

At the end of class, we dined on mushroom pastas and panna cotta while enjoying each other's company and conversation. Folks left saying they can't wait to eat more mushrooms more often, and one gal even said she didn't like mushrooms before, and now she loves them 🥹

I loved hosting this fun and educational experience. I love seeing strangers connect over a common interest, and seeing folks be open and curious about new things ✨

🍄 Mandee just delivered fresh Shiitake & Chestnuts and her dry mushroom seasonings into the shop. Fresh cooler delivery will happen every Thursday.
