We’re excited to see Dr. David Musante begin incorporating the Synergy Disc into his practice!

As cervical arthroplasty continues to evolve, implant design and material selection are becoming an increasingly important part of the conversation.

Designed to support anatomic alignment while preserving motion, the Synergy Disc reflects a thoughtful approach to cervical arthroplasty.

Last week the Synergy team attended the 3rd Annual HOI Spine Symposium.

We were honored to see Dr. Todd Lanman present on "Cervical Total Disc Arthroplasty" and Dr. Joel Beckett deliver an insightful session titled "From Fusion to Motion." Both presentations featured compelling case examples demonstrating the impact the Synergy Disc is having in their clinical practice.

A common theme throughout these presentations was the importance of preserving motion, restoring alignment, and thoughtfully selecting implant materials to support long-term patient outcomes.

Nickel is one of the most common metal allergens, with studies estimating sensitivity in up to 17% of women and 3% of men in the United States. Material selection matters. The Synergy Disc endplate materials are titanium alloy with no nickel!

Thank you HOI Chief of Spine Surgery Dr. Jeremy Smith, faculty, and attendees for a fantastic event and for advancing the conversation around motion preservation!

The expectations for cervical disc technology are changing.

Today’s conversation is no longer centered on motion preservation alone — surgeons are increasingly evaluating how implant design influences sagittal alignment.

Dr. Philip Saville recently began utilizing the Synergy Disc in his practice. “What interested me most was the overall implant philosophy. Preserving motion is important, but so is restoring alignment. That combination makes this technology particularly compelling.” – Dr. Saville

With continued innovation and clinical experience, cervical arthroplasty is entering a new era of intentional design.

As cervical arthroplasty continues to evolve, surgeons are placing greater emphasis on technologies that support both motion preservation and spinal alignment.

We’re excited to see Dr. Arash Sayari incorporating the Synergy Disc into his practice.

“One of the things that immediately stood out to me was the focus on alignment in addition to motion preservation. The ability to approach cervical arthroplasty with both of those goals in mind represents an important step forward.” – Dr. Sayari

Designed to support anatomic alignment while preserving motion, the Synergy Disc offers an intentional approach to cervical arthroplasty.

We were excited to recently participate in the Malaysia Spine Society ASPIRE Spine Masterclass 2026!

Thank you Dr. Teo Beng Tiong for delivering a fantastic talk “Cervical Arthroplasty – Surgical Pearls” and providing valuable training to participating spine surgeons during the Advanced Cervical Session.

With 10+ years of clinical use and 5,500+ cases, the Synergy Disc brings a global track record!

More surgeons are looking beyond motion preservation alone in cervical disc arthroplasty.

We’re excited to see Dr. Robert Bray begin using the Synergy Disc as part of the continued evolution in rethinking what’s possible in motion preservation and spinal alignment.

The Synergy Disc is the first and only artificial cervical disc designed to improve alignment with a built-in 6-degree lordotic core.

The conversation around cervical arthroplasty is evolving.

We’re excited to see Dr. Ernest Braxton begin incorporating the Synergy Disc into practice as more surgeons explore the role of alignment-focused motion preservation in cervical arthroplasty.

The Synergy Disc features a built in 6-degree lordotic core, allowing the implant to address motion and alignment.

We’re excited to see Dr. Leonel Hunt begin using the Synergy Disc as part of a growing movement toward more alignment-focused cervical disc solutions.

“My initial experience has been very encouraging, particularly from an implantation and workflow perspective.” - Dr. Hunt

Built with intentional design principles and time-tested materials, the Synergy Disc was developed to support anatomic alignment while preserving motion.

Together with the DePuy Synthes Germany team, we recently supported a hands-on training course hosted by NSpine at IRCAD Strasbourg where attendees gained practical experience with the Synergy Disc in a surgical setting.

Educational programs like NSpine play an important role in advancing spine education, surgical technique, and collaboration across the global spine community. With 10+ years of clinical use and more than 5,500 cases performed globally, the continued education and adoption of the Synergy Disc reflects a proven, global track record.

Thank you to the organizers, faculty, participating surgeons, and our industry partners at DePuy Synthes Germany who helped make this year’s course such a success!

More surgeons are beginning to want more from a cervical disc. Not just motion preservation. But how a device contributes to overall cervical alignment.

We’re excited to see Dr. Daniel Williams begin using the Synergy Disc as momentum continues to build around a more alignment-focused approach to cervical arthroplasty.

The Synergy Disc features a built-in 6-degree lordotic core designed to not only preserve motion but also improve sagittal alignment.
