Going from constant pain and fear to even pick up a dropped pen to carrying, lifting, pulling and pushing with resistance has been awesome! Fitness athletes come in all sizes and stages of life. Education has always been a hidden interest of mine. Over the years I’ve had at least 10 students as a clinical instructor and I continue to support my Alma mater (Bellarmine) by hosting first year students for on site labs. The lab was on “emerging modalities in PT” and we discussed shockwave therapy! How it works, indications and we even were able to use it on a community member for demonstration. It was a great day!
