i everyone,

The last few days have been a bit rough with pain and nausea. I had a CT scan yesterday to see how things are healing but I haven’t heard the results of that yet.
With that being said, and the fact that I don’t know when I’ll be able to have my NJ feeding tube removed, I have made the decision to only focus on rescheduling tattoo appointments that are already in progress. In order to allow myself to heal and due to the limited amount of time I have left to tattoo, I will be canceling any appointments that have not been started and all consultations. Deposits will be returned. I’m sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone, but I have to make my health and healing my #1 priority. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi everyone,

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. After 2 weeks, I have been discharged from the hospital and am now continuing to recover at home. However, the healing process for necrotizing pancreatitis is very slow and I will still have a feeding tube for at least another week or more. I will be out of commission and resting for the rest of the month. If you have a tattoo appointment scheduled I will reach out to reschedule once I am off the feeding tube and able to return to work. Thank you for your continued patience and support during my recovery. ❤️

Hi Everyone,
I just to let everyone know that I have been in the hospital for about a week with severe, acute necrotizing pancreatitis and blood clots. It has been a pretty exhausting and excruciating experience but I am getting a little better every day. However, the healing process is slow and I’m still not really sure when I’ll be discharged or how quickly I’ll be able to return to tattooing once I’m discharged. I have directly contacted those with appointments that have been or will immediately be affected by this hospitalization. I will update everyone once I have more information. Than k you for your patience during this time.

Hey everyone, just want to let you all know that some changes are happening over here at Moon Poppy Shop!
Beginning Monday, December 16, 2024 I will be starting a new career as a 2nd grade teacher!
In January 2025, I will be going back to school to get my Master’s degree in Elementary Education!
No worries though, I will still have my tattoo studio until the end of 2025! However, my schedule will be very limited and I will only be available on Saturdays (all year) and Tuesdays-Saturdays during JCPS school breaks. So if you have any tattoos you need to finish or anything you want me to do for you, this will be my last year of tattooing. Check out my announcements page on www.moonpoppyshop.com for more info. Thank you all for allowing me to come this far! I couldn’t have done it without all my wonderful clients. 🥰
