Using the massage chair at Planet Fitness - I have to turn the intensity way down. Those hard metal roller balls against my old bones are pretty brutal.

I have to say, it's a good thing this is a machine, because if a live human kneaded me in some of the places these metal roller balls pound against, I would be pressing charges. As it is, I wonder what guys have to do in the massage chairs to protect their family jewels.

Governor Phil Scott just signed the first-in-the-nation ban on paraquat into law, making Vermont the first U.S. state to prohibit the use and sale of this toxic herbicide.

Paraquat is one of the most toxic herbicides still used in the U.S. and has been strongly linked to Parkinson’s disease and other serious health harms.

70+ countries have banned paraquat. EWG is now urging New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and other states to follow Vermont's lead, while California considers new restrictions of its own.

Planet Fitness is the bomb!

Just to let everyone know... why? Just because... Last year I mentioned working out a lot; this year I mentioned not working out. It's a chronic back injury that sometimes exacerbates.

Earlier this week my chiropractor released me to return to the gym, and I am now able to work out again! Happy dance! I've been twice already, started out with 20 minute workouts on the core strengthening machines. I'm leaving to go back very soon now.

I can do the machine kneeling twist without hip pain or right flank muscle catching and cramping! Yay!

I'm getting red light therapy with vibration plate at maintenance level as part of the gym membership. This is the best deal ever! 😁
